CERTIFICATE OF TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
We declare, at the request of the interested party, Revicon Engenharia Limitada, with
headquarters on Avenida Alvares Cabral, 381/806 – Lourdes, Belo Horizonte, that it completed the
construction works for Instituto Materno Infantil de Minas Gerais S/A at Alameda da Serra, 499 –
Vila da Serra District, Nova Lima MG, under the technical supervision of the Civil Engineer Renato
Fernando Brito Vieira, holder of CREA/MG registration card number 22950/D.
The purpose of Instituto Materno Infantil de Minas Gerais S/A is to provide complete health care
to women and children. The main idea is to arrange for the best resources that medicine currently
has to offer in the technological and human fields to be available in one location and within the
scope of one single clinical body of staff.
Our community will have a medical center, a hub of scientific development and a health service on
a par with the world’s most advanced.
Pediatric health care will be complete, covering complications in fetal growth (high risk pregnancy,
ICU for high risk pregnant women, etc.), the prenatal period (nurseries, neonatal care unit),
outpatient services, follow-ups, urgency and emergency services, specialist clinics (nephrology,
pulmonology, neurology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, etc.), pediatric intensive care unit, surgical
procedures for children in the diverse areas of expertise, out-patient medicine, and related
services such as pediatric dentistry, physical therapy, etc.
Care for women will be considered in its broadest and most varied terms, from the adolescent
through to the geriatric period.
We aim to extend our care to different layers of the population through a policy that makes our
operational costs affordable to any part thereof (communities, insurers, companies, providers etc.)
that strives to cover the costs of providing patients with the service that they deserve and is
consistent with our principles and medical training, something which we will continue to insist on.

LIGHTNING ARRESTER
Linear captor type made up of copper rebars with diameter of 7mm, installed in
the upper part of the platband on the building’s perimeter and on the descents for
a total of 24, interlinked to the contour mesh in the internal perimeter of the
building, through a 50mm2 tendon ring.

Grounding mesh in the basement formed of 15 rods interlinked by a 120mm2
tendon, where all the earthing points connect to make up an equipotential system

electrical busbars and other equipment)

FIRE FIGHTING AND PREVENTION SYSTEM

fire prevention system by detectors:
made up of a network of addressable type detectors with smoke,
thermovelocimetric and heat characteristics. The system is monitored through an
electrically powered alarm panel, also composed of a continuous current power
system. The system also has visual and sound alarms that identify possible drops in
the constant monitoring done through the control panel.
