AMÂNDIO ANASTÁCIO (1975) - Artistic Director of Alma d ᤀ䄀爀愀洀攀 - finished the Scenography Course at Escola Profissional
de Teatro de Cascais in 1996; participated in several other workshops, seminars, and free courses from which the most
important ones were the Kuruma Ningyo manipulation technique workshop, the free luminotechnic course at Escola
Superior de Teatro e Cinema, the seminar oriented by Professor Maurício Rinaldi about light aesthetic at Escola Superior
de Teatro e Cinema and the course The actor and his double oriented by Neville Tranter, founder of Stuffed Puppet
Teather, in Charleville-Mezieres at École National Supérieure des Arts de la Marionnette of the Institut International de la
Marionnette.Professionally stands out the work for Companhia de Teatro de Marionetas de Lisboa as a creator and puppet
builder, scenographer, figurine builder and light and sound technician (between 1998 and 2005) as well as the
collaboration with Teatro Nacional D. Maria II and Companhia de Teatro de Almada as a scenographer, figurine builder,
and creator of puppets and masks.He has worked with such directors as Carlos Avilez, João Mota, Joaquim Benite, Bernard
Sobel, Andrezej Kowalski, José Ramalho and Nuno Cardoso and scenographers as Ildeberto Gama, José Carlos Barros, José
Manuel Castanheira, Raul Neves, Leszec Madzic, Fernando Ribeiro, among others.From the many creations where he
participated in the following stand out:Cosi Fan Tutti (Porto 2001), Guerras de Alecrim e Mangerona (2000), Poesia e
Marionetas (2004), Pequenos Crimes Conjugais (2007), Casa da Lenha (2006), Flauta Mágica (2006), O Retábulo de Maese
Pedro (1999) and Ricardo II (2007).
Currently he is the founder and artistic director of Alma d ᤀ䄀爀愀洀攀 - Associação Cultural, president of UNIMA Portugal ᤀ猀
fiscal council and cooperates with Oficinas do Convento ONGD - Associação Cultural de Arte e Comunicação.
He is also concluding (defending the thesis) a master
Universidade de Évora.
