Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS
Foundation employs 4,019 staff across its
two sites .As well as Peterborough, the Trust
also delivers services to patients from South
Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and
Leicestershire, both at Peterborough City
Hospital and Stamford and Rutland Hospital.

The new hospital is a 611 bed acute hospital. The Trust

Peterborough is in the north west of
Cambridgeshire bordering the counties of

Northamptonshire. Stamford is located 15
miles to the north of Peterborough.
Situated between East Anglia and the East

Sports & Leisure
Sports facilities include an all
weather stadium for field and
track events, squash courts,
astro turf hockey pitch, tennis
courts, several indoor swimming
pools and a summertime lido, a
parachuting and flying centre,
gliding club, public and private
golf courses, shooting clubs,
cricket, rugby and football
pitches and an ice rink.
Entertainment
Peterborough has plenty to
offer for entertainment and
nightlife. In the city center the
Broadway area is the focus for a
lively night out with late night
bars and clubs.
Broadway also houses the Broadway theatre
for live entertainment and cinema and the 13
screen Showcase cinema is situated just
outside the city centre.
The Key Theatre, on the banks of the River
Nene provides a wide range of live
entertainment all year with a pantomime at
Christmas. The Cathedral is used for many
concerts and festivals with the week-long
English music festival in July one of the
summer highlights in the city's music
calendar. Tolthorpe Hall, home of the Rutland
Open Air Theatre and the popular Stamford
Shakespeare Company. Between June and
August three Shakespearean plays are
produced in the setting of a
beautiful glade within grounds
of the hall.

groups, amateur dramatics,
operatic and musical societies.
