November 27 (Saturday) 18H00 – Welcome Reception for the participants, at the “Escola Portuguesa de Macau”. – Launching of the book “Os três Encontros das Comunidades Macaenses sob os auspícios da RAEM”. November 28 (Sunday) 11H00 – Launching of new books related to the Macanese Community and presentation of the Identity Awards 2009 and 2010 by the Instituto Internacional de Macau, at the “Teatro D. Pedro V”. 18H00 – Opening Ceremony of the Encontro at the Venetian Ballroom of the Venetian Resort Hotel, presided by His Excelency the Chief Executive of Macau SAR, and dinner party. (Attire: dark suit) November 29 (Monday) Program for the members of the Social Boards of the M.C.C.: 09H00 – Meeting of the Macanese Communities Council (with election of the Social Boards) at the MCC Clubhouse. 13H00 – Lunch for the members of the Social Boards of MCC. 14H30 – Meeting of the Standing Committee. Program for the other participants of the Encontro: 10H00‐12H00 – Guided visit by specialists of the Cultural Institute of Macau to sites of historical interest. 16H00 – Photo session at the Ruins of St. Paul, with the presence of His Excellency the Chief Executive of Macau SAR. 19H30 – Dinner party offered by the Government of the Macau SAR. November 30 (Tuesday) Macanese Culture Day: 10H00 – Conference on “Patuá” and presentation of the Website “Macanese Families”, at the Auditorium of the Macau Polytechnic Institute. Speakers: 1. Henrique d’Assumpção, author of the site “Macanese Families”. 2. Alan Baxter 3. Miguel de Senna Fernandes 4. Deolinda Adão 13H00 – Lunch for the participants of the Conference Social afternoon (Interested Associations) 18H00 – Reception at the Residence of the Consul General of Portugal in Macau, for the delegations of the Casas de Macau and the Organizing Committee. 20H00 – “Patuá” show by the Group “Doci Papiaçam di Macau”, at the D. Pedro V Theatre. December 1 (Wednesday) “Festa de Nossa Senhora Padroeira das Comunidades Macaenses” 09H30 – Laying of wreaths of flowers at the Monument for the Macanese Communities 11H00 – Mass and Te‐Deum at the Cathedral of Macau 18H00 – Inauguration of the renewed “Jardim de Infância D. José da Costa Nunes”, followed by “Chá Gordo” and performance by local artists and from the diaspora. – Launching of the book “As Igrejas de Macau e Cerimónias Religiosas”, of Leonel Barros. December 2 (Thursday) Gastronomy Day: 10H00 – Conference on the Gastronomy Culture. Speakers: 1. Guest from Macau, Hugo Bandeira 2. Guest from Diaspora, Cíntia Serro 3. Guerst from Diaspora, Maria da Graça Pacheco Jorge Barreiros 4. Guest from Portugal, José Manuel Alves 13H00 – Lunch for the participants of Conference. 18H00 – Ceremony of proclamation of Confreres by Merit of the Confraria da Gastronomia Macaense, at the Grand Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Hotel, followed by Macanese cuisine dinner and variety show. (Attire: Confraria’s uniform for the Confreres) December 3 (Friday) Youth Day 10H00 – Visit to the Macau University of Science and Technology (only to the youths) 14H00 – Bowling tournament at the Macau Dome 19H00 – Dinner and ball with performances by local artists and from the diaspora, at the Grand Hall in the 4th floor of the Macau Tower. December 4 (Saturday) Free day December 5 (Sunday) 18H00 – Closing Dinner Party of the Encontro “MACAU 2010”, at the Fishermen Wharf with the performance of varieties show by local artist and from the diaspora. (Attire: informal)
