NOTES
- The syncopated rhythm in the first three bars is often associated with what has come to be called "Red River"
style, so named after Andy de Jarlis adaptations of older French and Metis tunes on the prairies began to appear
on recordings.
- The bowing here is a nice combination some shuffle-type slurs with some straight-forward separate bowing.
This is typical of western Canada where older Scottish and French influences combine with American and
"Down-East" Canadian styles.
