Once I had a really funny experience on an airplane. It was traveling from Miami in the United States to
Cancún in Mexico. I was with my parents and my sister, Lydia, and we were going on vacation for a week.
At first, everything was fine. I was sitting next to a window at the back of the airplane, and Lydia was next to
me. We weren’t looking out. We were watching a movie and having our dinner.
Then, I looked out of the window and the sky was really black. Next, it started to rain heavily, and it was very
windy, too. The pilot told everyone to go back to their seats and put on their seat belts.
Mom was looking scared because she doesn’t enjoy flying. I was chatting to Lydia when suddenly the airplane
started to move up and down violently. Some people were shouting, but Lydia and I weren’t. We were
laughing. It was like a roller coaster at an amusement park!
Five minutes later it stopped and the airplane continued normally. Lydia and I wanted it to happen again, but it
didn’t. Mom was smiling happily when we finally landed at the airport in Cancún.
