To our dear DONORS/BENEFACTORS:
Warm greetings from the UPIS Community!
We would like to express our gratitude to you for sponsoring/adopting room/s. We are overwhelmed
by your support and we are so excited to show you the facilities and equipment that you so generously
provided for our students.
In 2011, when UPIS launched the Adopt-a-Room Project, we were glad and most inspired with your
prompt and eager response to our appeal to furnish the New UPIS Rooms. Over the next two years, as
the New UPIS Buildings gradually took shape, your donation enabled us to purchase the items needed
in the different classrooms. We met some challenges, e.g. modifications in the building plans,
additional cost for the installation of equipment, and significant price increases, among others –but
somehow, we were able to hurdle them. In spite of the numerous adjustments we had to make
regarding the specifications for each room (in part due to building design and inflation), the classrooms
were ready for the students‟ use by the start of the 2nd semester of Academic Year 2013-2014.
It is for this reason that today, the 7th of December 2013, we host this simple event in appreciation of
your magnanimous act to UPIS. We hope that this occasion marks the beginning of a deeper
partnership between you and the UPIS in providing the best quality of education for years to come.
In the spirit of transparency, the UPIS Administration is providing you with a Statement of Account to
update you on the furnishings and equipment purchased for the room/s. Rest assured that the amount
you donated will benefit our students for many years. Also, the copies of all statements of account will
be posted in the UPIS website, www.upis.upd.edu.ph.
Again, thank you very much for your generosity and we trust that you will continue to support UPIS
thru the years.
