Our crankshaft grinder suits the more
demanding requirements for machining. Its
system of crossed centralizing is more agile
in the position of its shaft and its mechanical
strength allows it to be operated under
severe conditions, without the vibrations that
endanger the part. We always endeavor to
build machines that are faster, more accurate
and safer for the operator.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
All of Models of the Crankshaft Grinder have:
Multiple Crossed Centering: The chuck can be moved in two
directions during centering, turning on its own axis and facilitating
the transition between crank pins. These three combined movements
allow for valuable timesaving’s on centering.
Automatic Lubrication of the Table: When the table is in
movement it is automatically lubricated by the oil pump. This
enables the table and the wheelhead transversal movement to be
permanently lubricated. In the case of a lack of oil an alarm light
comes on to warn the operator.

Hydraulic Displacement of the Abrasive Wheel Headstock: This
system quickly recoils the abrasive wheel, making the beginning and

Automatic Table Movement: This offers a greater speed in the
displacement of the work and this speeds up the passage
between bearings.
Multiple Disk Clutch: This equipment allows for the smooth start up
of the crankshaft grinder, a characteristic that reduces the impact on
the shaft and prolongs the life of the machine.
System of Adjusting Conicity: The Center Point Tailstock has an
adjustable transverse movement and avoids excess conicity.
Fast Return of the Center Point: This movement provides the
removal of the axis without moving the Tailstock and this offers a
Air Cushion Floating System*: Helps the displacement of the
heads and prolongs the life of the heads.The Tailstock can be
moved by hand or by a rack. The operator selects the most comfortable option.

Model 1000/220K is a machine for grinding shafts of up to 39.4” in
length and it has all of the technology found in the larger machines.
For a machine of this size, it has a structure that is very rigid and
resistant, a characteristic that reduces the vibrations of the shafts and
improves the superficial finish. The 1000/220K has some items that are
not common in machines of this size, such as Automatic Displacement

Our Cylinder Boring Machine has a robust
structure that ensures precise machining and an
excellent finishing. Its Quick Centering System
allows the cylinder to be centralized without
removing the cutting tool. Its special micrometers
and its exclusive tool sharpening system ensures
that the cutting tool is quickly and precisely
prepared, with optimum machining angles.
The Automatic Head Return System offers
greater flexibility and security in the boring.
The Spindle Support ensures safe and simple
spindle changing. Its Surfaces Milling System is
indispensable in the finishing of the machining
of sleeve seats. The Cylinder Borer and Surface
Miller have the option of not being equipped with
the Milling System (model BC 750).
Surface Milling System: This system is made of a surface milling
spindle, a gear box to move the Table in two speeds and a support
for the dial gage. This system is indispensable in the finishing of the

Automatic Head Return System: This device increases the safety and
speeds up the machining process. It works in the following way: at
the end of the machining of the cylinder, the spindle automatically
stops and lifts until it exits the cylinder.
Two Special Micrometers: These micrometers were specially developed to provide direct reading, because it is shown in the right scale.
Simply place the tool in the micrometer and tighten a screw for it to
be placed in the correct position.
Sharpening Support: This provides a sharpening with ideal machining angles, quickly and simply. Simply place the tool in the support,
insert in the shaft of the grinder that comes with the machine and
apply the diamond grinding disc.
Support for the Quick Change of the Spindle:
It is not required to manually load this to change the spindle.

The RS-1200 was designed to meet
the most severe requirement in surface
grinding. It ship with abrasive tools, CBN
and Hard Metal. The Hydraulic Table
System allows for movements from
0 in/min up to 146 in/min.
Robust Construction: The machine has a cast iron column
with rectified side bars, a hydraulic unit and an external cooling
tank that facilitates cleaning.
Abrasive, Hard Metal or CBN: The abrasive segments are easily
fastened to the support for machining. It comes equipped with
a tool carrier and CBN tips (Cubic Boron Nitride), besides a tool
for machining aluminum. There is also a device that is capable
of milling components that has precision bearings that offer more
accurate machining.
Fast Head Drive: The RS 1200 has a fast electric drive to
raise and lower the head, and end of course protection. The
Variable Table Speed: The machine is equipped with a
hydraulically operated speed control panel, allowing the
speed to be infinitely varied from 0 to 146 in/min. It is also
equipped with a selector device for continuous or
intermittent movements and dead stop.

Our Boring and Grinding Machine was designed
to be a solution in the reconstruction of con-rods.
The Planetary System, the Grinding wheel, the
Boring Spindle and the Table can operate at various speeds. Because of its robust structure and
resources, it operates with agility, precision and
safety.
The BRB 570 has a ground main base and rasped
heads for a perfect alignment. When the boring
is finished the grinding wheel can start without a
new centering in the radius of the con-rod. The
grind wheel dresser can be used without the need
for removing the con-rod, simply press the button
to stop the planetary movements.
Centering Device: Uses a dial comparator and has sideways
movements to permit centering. The distance between the holes in the
con-rod is controlled by a scale that is on the side of the fixing device.
Measuring Device: The adjustment of the tool is done with the use
of a micrometer head attached to a dial comparator and a standard
Grinding Wheel Dresser: This dresser can operate with the con-rod
in the support. The head has a stop button to stop the planetary
movement of the dressing.

Expanding Arbors: The con-rod is fastened with the sheets of
the shaft expander allowing for a perfect alignment between the
holes. Three sets of extensions are supplied having a capacity
of 0.7 to 5 in.
Cooling Liquid Tank: The tank is external to aid cleaning.
Head Alignment: The main base is machined and the
Heads are rasped to provide a perfect alignment. In this
way, at the end of the boring operation the grinding head starts
grinding all the area of the con-rod.
Wheel Dresser: Allows for the advance and return of the grind
shaft. It is fitted with a planetary group, and its gears operate in

normal components and service tools.
