The Sisters of Precious Blood invite you to join them in
celebrating the Perpetual Profession of their
Sister Jeaneth Villegas, at St. Michael, London (511
Cheapside St.) on Saturday, May 28 at 1 pm. All are
welcome, reception to follow.
The Strathroy and District Right to Life has obtained
a large number of postcards from The Euthanasia
Prevention Coalition (EPC). The EPC has launched a
postcard campaign to Members of Parliament under the
theme: I support Caring Not Killing. The cards we have
at the office urges members of parliament to protect the
conscience rights of medical professionals. On the one
side of the card, you are to write your name, address,
Postal Code and Signature. On the other side of the card
please write the name of the political leader or your
member of parliament. We have a member of the
Strathroy Right to Life meeting with MP Bev Shipley
next week. Any cards returned to the office by Sunday
evening will be hand delivered to Mr. Shipley. If you are
unable to return them on such late notice please mail
them postage FREE to your federal politician. Please
stop by at the office at 22370 Adelaide Rd.,
Mt. Brydges, to sign your card and/or pick up a number
for friends and family. Thanks for helping in this critical
campaign. Time is of the essence. Mr. Shipley pointed
out that he needs the cards returned by June 1st.

Strathroy Annual Right to Life
Walk-a-thon – May 28
This is a reminder that the Right to Life walk-a-thon is
on Saturday, May 28. Everyone is invited to attend. This
is an opportunity to remind the community that there is
an active Right to Life group within Strathroy and area.
It is also an excellent opportunity to get some exercise
while having fellowship with other pro-lifers. Come and
join us. Registration begins at 9:30, the walk will begin
at 10:00 and free lunch will be served at 11:00. We hope
to see many of you there!

PILGRIMAGE
Monday, August 15th 2016
St. Peter’s Cathedral’s Legion of Mary is sponsoring a
pilgrimage to the Shrine of the Holy Rosary in Merlin,
Ontario, to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of Mary.
Cost is $25 per person, to be paid at the time of reservation.
Please remember to bring your lunch, as there is no place to
buy food at the Shrine.
Pick up:
St. Peter’s - 8:00am
St. Justin’s - 8:15am
We will depart the Shrine at 3:00pm

Refugee Application Update
Our application was completed in early March but is currently
on stand by. Immigration is not receiving any applications
after the 25 000 election promise was met.
We have little information on when our application will be
processed. We will keep you informed as information is made
known to us. Please pray for our Syrian family waiting in
Lebanon. Thank you for your continual prayers and support.
CWL Corner News

RCIA
We are looking for parishioners to help with the
RCIA for the 2016/17 year. Anyone interested in
learning about the RCIA and how to get involved is
welcome to an information meeting on June 7th at
7:30pm following Mass in St. Patrick’s Room. No
experience is necessary and new participants are
welcome!

I will be making my second trip to St.
Willibrord’s Parish in Verdun with both food and
monetary donation on Sunday, May 29th. Donations
may be dropped off at my van in the parking lot on
the weekend of May 28 - 29. I thank you for your
support.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
(RCIA) begins in the Fall. I know that we have a
number of non-Catholics attending Mass on a
regular basis, so if you are interested in
investigating becoming Catholic, this program is for
you. If you are interested, please call the office and
set up an appointment to see me.

As I write this, (Wednesday - May 18), the tenders
for the flat roof replacement closed yesterday. I am
waiting to hear the results of that tender, but I
anticipate that we will begin to see some work
beginning shortly.
4.
Fund Raising
In order to complete all the necessary work on our
buildings, we will have to conduct a campaign to
raise the necessary funds. Over the next week or so
you should be receiving the information about our
Fund Raining Campaign. Please prayerfully
consider this request.
Have a great Victoria Day Weekend! Pray for
our farmers during the planting season!

os concursos para a substituição do telhado
fecharem ontem. Eu estou esperando para ouvir os
resultados desse concurso, mas eu antecipo que
vamos começar a ver algum trabalho começando
em breve.

igreja, teremos que realizar uma campanha para
levantar os fundos necessários. Durante a próxima
