This master thesis was an auto-­‐ethnography in culturally diverse groups in Europe, in which, as a participant observer, I collected field notes regarding the relationship with/of people from different cultures, the expatriate life and insertion in a culturally diverse group in my studies semesters in Italy and Austria. As a second part of the thesis, I interviewed a group of workers from an Internet company in Germany, in order to understand their own experiences in culturally diverse environments. The results of this theses was the description and analysis of many situations of intercultural interaction through the lenses of symbolic interactionism.
