Introduction
Medications are a very complex good in health consumption range, which requires a rigorous and
continuous surveillance in the pre and post marketing, to assure the efficacy, effectiveness,
efficiency and safety.
The Pharmacy Master - Specialization in Applied Pharmacotherapy of Coimbra Health School is
organizing a Symposium that pretends to be “A Symposium ranging from the Research Bench to
the Practice”.
For that purposes the Organizing Committee has mixed both phases – investigation & safety, with
new approaches, expecting that practices in this field can profit from this research in the benefit of
the patients and also promoting and enhance the dialogue between academia and practice
sharing the research developed in this Master.
Regarding the objectives of the Utilization Drug Studies and their validity and utility, the education
and practice in a different model, the role of patients in the safety process and a new approach of
drug discovery and the linkage to the benefit of Society are the main goals of this Symposium that
the Organizing Committee brings to life, for professionals and students related to medicines.

APRESENTAÇÃO DE COMUNICAÇÕES NO PHARMACY MASTER SYMPOSIUM
O Departamento de Farmácia da ESTESC em pareceria com a Associação Portuguesa de Licenciados
em Farmácia, abre, no âmbito do Pharmacy Master Symposium (PMS), a possibilidade aos profissionais
e estudantes de Farmácia, de exporem e/ou apresentarem trabalhos académicos e/ou científicos.
Assim, os interessados podem fazê-lo através de comunicação sob a forma de Poster.
Os interessados devem de submeter um Resumo, de acordo com as instruções que se seguem. A Ficha
de Resumo encontra-se em Submissão de Abstracts.
DEADLINE para Apresentação dos Resumos - 31 de Maio
NORMAS GERAIS
1. A apresentação de comunicações está disponível apenas aos participantes no PMS;
2. É obrigatória a inscrição no PMS do autor/co-autor identificado como apresentador;
3. Todos os trabalhos propostos serão analisados pela Comissão Científica que seleccionará os que
considerar aptos, podendo recusar os trabalhos que não demonstrem qualidade técnica e/ou
científica;
4. No dia do PMS o(s) autor(es) devem providenciar a disponibilização dos seus trabalhos em suporte
de papel, tamanho A4, junto ao local de afixação do(s) Poster(es).
5. Será emitido UM certificado por comunicação, onde constará o autor e o(s) co-autor(es).
6. A Comissão Científica reserva a possibilidade de propor ao(s) autor(es) a apresentação sob a forma
de comunicação oral.
