Objectives and skills
Objectives:
- describe spatial statistical sampling;
- implementing a data analysis process;
- present different methodologies for the creation of geostatistical surfaces;
- use of different spatial interpolation methods and various tools for data representation and
data mining;
- use of different interpolation functions and achieve results consistent with the objectives of
work in the fields of geography and environment;
- compare surfaces prepared under different methodologies and different criteria.
Skills:
- understanding of the process of data analysis;
- understanding the advantages and disadvantages of different interpolation methods for spatial
data and parameterization;
