Creches: inscrições para lista de
espera do ano letivo 2016
Kodomoen Midterm Enrollment
for SY 2016
Período: do dia 15 do 2º mês anterior ao dia 1º
do mês anterior desejado para matrícula. Não
há recepção aos sábados, domingos e feriados.
Local: Prefeitura, Divisão de Gerenciamento de
Creches e Jardins da Infância;Creches
localizadas nas antigas áreas de Asahi, Asuke,
Fujioka, Inabu, Obara e Shimoyama: nas
respectivas sucursais. Atenção: o formulário de
inscrição será distribuído a partir de 10 de
fevereiro. Maiores informações: Div. de
Gerenciamento de Creches e Jardins da Infância,
tel: 0565-34-6809.
Application period: From the 15th of the
second month previous to the month when work
is expected to begin (when admission is desired)
until the 1st of the previous month. ※Except
Saturday, Sunday and National Holiday. If the
1st of the previous month falls on a weekend or
holiday, application deadline will be postponed to
the next business day. Office hours: 8:30 a.m. to
5:15 p.m.
Place of application: ●At Nursery School and
Kindergarten Management Division [Hoiku-ka].
●Kodomoen located in the districts of former
Asahi, Asuke, Inabu, Obara, Shimoyama and
Fujioka: at respective municipal branch office.
Enrollment procedure: Fill out application
documents (Application for Enrollment,
supporting documents needed to process the
enrollment application) and bring it to respective
submission place. You can apply for up to 3
schools. Application forms for enrollment are
distributed from February 10. You can get the
forms at Nursery School and Kindergarten
Management Division, at branch offices or
download from the city website. Information:

Festival Tenkasai
Atendimento: de terça a sexta,
das 9h às 21h; sábados e
domingos, das 9h às 17h. Não
há atendimento às segundas.
Venha participar do Festival Tenka-sai, realizado
anualmente com a finalidade de pedir aos deuses
proteção contra tormentas e garantir fartura nas
colheitas. Venha apreciar este Festival único e
tradicional da cidade, no qual participam homens
semi-nus disputando a“bola sagrada”
. Local: Lar
da Família Matsudaira (Matsudaira-go). Datas: 6
de fevereiro (sáb), das 17h às 20h e 7 de fevereiro
(dom), das 10h às 15h. Acesso: No dia 7, não
haverá estacionamento no local. Das 9h às 15h,
haverá ônibus gratuito a cada 45 minutos, com
partida do ponto nº 2 da estação Toyota-shi ou
do ponto Okutono-Jin’
ya, em Okazaki. Maiores

Exibição do filme“On The Way
To School”
Data: 13 de fevereiro (sáb), das 14h às 15h30.
Local: Centro Industrial e Cultural. Sinopse:
Documentário sobre as dificuldades enfrentadas
por crianças em 4 países diferentes para poder
frequentar a escola. Vagas: 150 pessoas.
Atenção: O filme será exibido apenas em
japonês. Crianças menores de 7 anos não podem
participar. Inscrições e informações: a partir
de 19 de janeiro (ter), 10h, na TIA – Associação

Hadaka Matsuri (Naked Festival)
This festival, known as‘Tenkasai’
, is held every
year at Matsudaira-go Matsuri Hiroba (at
Matsudaira Toshogu Shrine). Young to older
male, wearing loincloths [fundoshi] compete to
touch a wooden ball that has been soaked in holy
water the night before as part of a purification
ritual. It is said that touching the ball will bring
good fortune and keeps bad luck away.
Date & Time: February 6 (Sat), from 5 p.m. to
8 p.m., and 7 (Sun), from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Men
wearing loincloth will parade, compete to touch a
sacred wooden ball, throw rice cakes, etc.
Location: Matsudaira Toshogu Shrine.
Parking: There will not be parking space on the
7th, so please use the free shuttle bus to go to the
event site. Buses will run every 45 minutes,
between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., from Toyotashi
Station Meitetsu bus stop and around Okutono
Jin’
ya bus stop (in Okazaki City). Information:

Screening of the Movie‘On The
Way To School’

Come and watch the beautiful and inspirational
documentary‘On the Way to School’which
follows four children from around the globe on
their long and challenging journeys to school.
Date & Time: February 13 (Sat), 2 p.m. to 3:30
p.m. Location: Toyota Industry and Culture
Center. Age restriction: Elementary school
aged child and above. Number of participants:
150 people on a first-come, first-serve basis.
