Shutter Control Window (PC)
1 Start program “Shutter Control” by
double-clicking the icon.
2 To read the lens data from the memory
of the shutter, click “Select lens”.
3 Lens name, largest aperture and fastest
shutter speed ¡/60 s are displayed.
4 To prepare multi-shots or release oneshots with the trigger cable, click button
“Ext. release”.
5 Set f-number with the up/down switch:
 = higher,  = lower.
6 Set exposure time with the up/down
switch:  = longer,  = shorter.
7 Set intermediate values of aperture and
shutter speed with the slide controls.
8 To open the shutter with an open aperture, click the  symbol.
9 To open the shutter with the working
aperture, click the symbol.
¡0 To close the shutter (before releasing),
click the  symbol.
¡1 To release, click the “Release” button or
push the button of the trigger cable (for
multi-shots only for the first shot; subsequent shots are taken automatically).

Low power alert
Bei Stromversorgung über das USB-Verbindungskabel (ohne Netzteil) durch einen LaptopComputer muß wegen der zusätzlichen Belastung mit kürzerer Akkulaufzeit gerechnet werden. Falls es zu Spannungsproblemen kommt, erscheint eine Warnmeldung.
If power is supplied from a laptop computer via the USB connection cable (without the
power supply plugged in) a shorter battery life must be taken into account. In the case of a
low voltage problem, a new window with an alert message will appear.
Wenn der als Energiespeicher dienende Kondensator leer ist, erscheint „Shutter control
not ready – please wait“. Danach blinkt „Select lens“, um die Objektivdaten zu aktualisieren. Wenn die USB-Verbindung gelöst wird, erscheint „USB device not found“.
If the capacitor (used as energy storage) is empty, an alert appers “Shutter control not
found – please wait”. Subsequently, “Select lens” will flash as a reminder that the lens data
must be updated. If the USB connection is cut off, “USB device not found” is displayed.
USB INTERFACE
FOR ELECTRONIC SHUTTER
1 Programm „Shutter Control“ mit einem
Doppelklick auf das Icon starten.
2 Zur Objektivdaten-Übernahme aus dem
Verschlußspeicher „Select lens“ anklicken.
3 Objektivname, größte Blende und kürzeste Verschlußzeit ¡/60 s werden angezeigt.
4 Für Multishot-Aufnahmen oder mit dem
Triggerkabel auszulösende Oneshot-Aufnahmen Taste „Ext. release“ anklicken.
5 Gewünschte Blendenzahl mit Verstellwippe wählen:  = größer,  = kleiner.
6 Gewünschte Verschlußzeit mit Verstellwippe wählen:  = länger,  = kürzer.
7 Blenden- und Verschlußzeit-Zwischenwerte mit Schiebereglern einstellen.
8 Zum Öffnen des Verschlusses bei offener
Blende Symbol  anklicken.
9 Zum Öffnen des Verschlusses bei Arbeitsblende Symbol anklicken.
¡0 Zum Schließen des Verschlusses (vor dem
Auslösen nötig!) Symbol  anklicken.
¡1 Zum Auslösen Taste „Release“ anklicken
oder Taste des Triggerkabels drücken (bei
Multishot nur für erste Auslösung nötig,
alle weiteren folgen automatisch).

Drei Rückteil-Kabelverbindung zur Wahl
Da es von allen Digitalrückteil-Herstellern
passende Copal-Synchronisationskabel gibt,
ist die Verbindung darüber und mit dem
Rückteil-Synchronisationskabel # ¡054552
die einfachste und immer mögliche Lösung.
Falls für das Rückteil bereits ein HasselbladAdapterkabel vorhanden ist, kann dieses alternativ mit dem Hasselblad-USB-Interface
# ¡055789 benutzt werden. Phase One wird
demnächst ein Spezialkabel für die eigenen
Digitalrückteile auf den Markt bringen, das
direkt an den USB-Adapter anschließbar ist.
Die anderen Digitalrückteil-Hersteller dürften bald mit ähnlichen Spezialkabeln folgen.
Choose one of the three cable connections
between the USB box and the digital back
As a matching Copal sync cable is available
from all manufacturers of digital backs, this
cable plus Sync cable to USB box # ¡054552
is the most convenient and easiest solution.
If you already have a Hasselblad adapter
cable for your digital back, this cable can be
used as an alternative together with the
Hasselblad interface # ¡055789. Phase One
will soon be launching a special cable for
their digital backs, which can be plugged directly into the USB box. The other manufacturers of digital backs may follow with
similar special cables in the near future.
Wann mit dem Triggerkabel auslösen?
Wenn der Fotograf beim Auslösen an der
Kamera stehen will, kann er mit dem Triggerkabel statt über die Release-Taste der
USB-Software auslösen. Dazu muß er vorher im Software-Fenster auf „Ext. release“
umgeschaltet haben. Stets mit dem Triggerkabel auszulösen ist die erste Belichtung bei
Multishot-Aufnahmen; die folgenden Belichtungen werden danach automatisch von der
Software des Digitalrückteils ausgelöst.
When to release using the trigger cable?
If you want to be close to the camera when
releasing, you can release using the trigger
