Der AB Aqua Medic Ozone Booster ist ein anschlussfertiger Lufttrockner, der vor einen
Ozongenerator und Eiweißabschäumer geschaltet wird. Wenn Ozongeneratoren (Aqua Medic Ozone
25 - 300) mit feuchter Zuluft betrieben werden, sinkt die Ozonausbeute. Es können sogar
unerwünschte Nebenprodukte entstehen. Mit dem Ozone Booster wird die Zuluft getrocknet und die
Ozonausbeute um bis zu 50% erhöht.

1. Anschluss und Inbetriebnahme
- Bei Vakuumbetrieb:
Wird der Ozone Booster an einen Eiweißabschäumer mit einer Injektor- oder Dispergatorpumpe
angeschlossen, wird ein 6 mm Schlauch vom Ozone Booster zum Eingangsanschluss des Ozongenerators verlegt. Der Luftwiderstand des Ozone Boosters ist gering, so dass die Luft von der
Abschäumerpumpe durch Ozone Booster und Ozongenerator gesaugt werden kann.
- Bei Druckbetrieb:
Wird der Ozone Booster an einem Eiweißabschäumer mit Ausströmerstein und Membranluftpumpe
betrieben, wird die Luft von der Luftpumpe durch Ozone Booster und Ozongenerator in den
Abschäumer geleitet.
2. Wartung
Der Ozone Booster ist mit einem hochleistungsfähigen Trocknungsgranulat gefüllt. Dieses nimmt
die Luftfeuchtigkeit auf und speichert sie. Sobald das Granulat mit Feuchtigkeit gesättigt ist, muss
es ausgetauscht werden. Der Zeitpunkt für den Austausch wird durch einen Farbwechsel des
Granulates angezeigt. Es enthalt etwa 5% blaue Indikatorkugeln. Diese färben sich bei Sättigung
mit Feuchtigkeit rosa. Dann muss das Granulat gewechselt werden. Bei einem durchschnittlichen
Abschäumer (z. B. Turboflotor 1000 Multi SL) und normal feuchter Raumluft reicht eine Füllung für
mindestens 3 Monate.
Blau: Granulat trocken - ok
Rosa: Granulat muss gewechselt werden
Zubehör: Nachfüllpackung Trocknungsgranulat 1 l
3. Garantie
AB Aqua Medic GmbH gewährt eine 12-monatige Garantie ab Kaufdatum auf alle Material- und
Verarbeitungsfehler des Gerätes. Als Garantienachweis gilt der Original-Kaufbeleg. Während dieser
Zeit werden wir das Produkt kostenlos durch Einbau neuer oder erneuerter Teile instand setzen
(ausgenommen Frachtkosten). Im Fall, dass während oder nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit Probleme
mit Ihrem Gerät auftreten, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fachhändler.
Diese Garantie gilt nur für den Erstkäufer. Sie deckt nur Material- und Verarbeitungsfehler, die bei
bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch auftreten. Sie gilt nicht bei Schäden durch Transporte oder
unsachgemäße Behandlung, Fahrlässigkeit, falschen Einbau sowie Eingriffen und Veränderungen,
die von nicht-autorisierten Stellen vorgenommen wurden.
AB Aqua Medic GmbH haftet nicht für Folgeschäden, die durch den Gebrauch des Gerätes
entstehen.

The AB Aqua Medic Ozone Booster is a ready to use air dryer. It is used in combination with an
ozone generator and a protein skimmer. If ozone generators are operated with humid air, the
ozone production decreases and undesired byproducts may be produced. The Ozone Booster dries
the air and thereby, increases the ozone production up to 50%.

1. Connection and starting
- Operation with vacuum:
If the Ozone Booster is used with a motor driven protein skimmer, a 6 mm hose is connected
between the Ozone Booster and the Ozone generator. The pressure drop in the Ozone Booster is
negligible, so the air can be sucked through the Ozone booster and the Ozone generator into the
protein skimmer.
- Operation with pressure:
If the Ozone Booster is used with an air driven protein skimmer, the Ozone Booster is switched
between the air pump and the Ozone generator.
2. Maintenance
The Ozone Booster is filled with a hih capacity drying media. It removes the humidity from the air
and collects it in the granules. If the media is saturated with water, it has to be changed. The time
for the change is indicated by a colour change of the blue indicator granules. If they are saturated
with water, they change their colour to pink. Then the media has to be changed. For an average
skimmer like the Turboflotor 1000 Multi SL, and an average humidity in the air, the media will last
for more than three months.
Blue: media dry - ok
Pink: media wet – change it
Accessories: refill pack with drying media 1 l
3. Warranty
Should any defect in material or workmanship be found within 12 months of the date of purchase
AB Aqua Medic GmbH undertakes to repair or, at our option, replace the defective part free of
charge – always provided the product has been installed correctly, is used for the purpose that was
intended by us, is used in accordance with the operating instructions and is returned to us carriage
paid. The warranty term is not applicable on the all consumable products.
Proof of Purchase is required by presentation of an original invoice or receipt indicating the dealer’s
name, the model number and date of purchase, or a Guarantee Card if appropriate. This warranty
may not apply if any model or production number has been altered, deleted or removed,
unauthorised persons or organisations have executed repairs, modifications or alterations, or
damage is caused by accident, misuse or neglect.
We regret we are unable to accept any liability for any consequential loss.
Please note that the product is not defective under the terms of this warranty where the product,
or any of its component parts, was not originally designed and / or manufactured for the market in
which it is used.
These statements do not affect your statutory rights as a customer.
