Reinhard Häckl, Häckl und Partner GmbH
Mr. Häckl is the founding partner of Häckl und Partner, GmbH a firm of German certified
public accountants and tax advisors (Wirtschaftsprüfer and Steuerberater) in Munich,
Germany. The firm focuses on domestic and international business and advises US
companies starting operations in Germany. Mr. Häckl is active in the Munich venture capital
community, consults with several high- technology companies, coaches the Munich Business
Plan competition and is on the board of the Munich Business Angels.
John Gosch, Bridge LLP
John focuses on the needs of international businesses expanding to the United States.
He has over 25 years experience and started his career with Ernst & Whinney. John has
significant international experience and is fluent in German and French. As a financial
manager he contributed to businesses in the US and Europe as well as the IPO of
technology companies.
John obtained his MBA from Pennsylvania State University and his BS from Lehigh
University. John is a frequent guest speaker on US and international business and tax
issues and on doing business in the US and in Europe. He is a licensed CPA in
California, New York and Pennsylvania.
E.J. Dieterle, Yes Partners
‘EJ’ is the CEO and Co-Founder of YES Partners (Inc.). He grew up in Germany, but has
been working most of his life internationally. Among other responsibilities he was several
years Country-Manager (Managing Director) for companies in the UK, Japan, South-Korea
and the USA, and has been responsible for organizations of 270 people.
EJ’s native language is German. Besides English he speaks also Spanish, French and can
communicate in Japanese.
EJ has a MBA and is an Alumni of IMD (Lausanne, Switzerland). Since several years he
serves as a Rotary-member (Half Moon Bay 5150, California, being President-elect 2009/10),
is a member of NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors), WAC (World Affairs
Council), The Churchill Club, Techwadi, IDBN-Dealamker, KASE & KIN (Korea IT Network),
Japan Society, BABC (British American Business Council), JCCNC (Japanese Chamber of
Commerce) and HR Co-Chair at GABA (German American Business Association). Over the
years EJ presented on various issues including HR in Japan, Korea, Europe, Nihon University
& at UC Berkeley.
Wolfram Doelker, WDE International
Wolfram Doelker is President and CEO of WD Enterprises International Inc. in Los Angeles.
Founded in 1998, his consulting practice focuses on market entry strategies and practical
management aspects of taking small and medium-size businesses from Europe into the
United States, and to compete in a global economy.
A native of Germany, Mr. Doelker is a Saarbruecken graduate in Business Economics and
earned his MBA from UC University in Schenectady, New York. He started his career in
banking and finance in Stuttgart, Germany and Chicago, IL, and with a New York based
Management Consulting firm. He then managed the successful globalization of a European
corporation, taking the company from doing $80 Mio in 4 countries to $400 Mio in 19
countries. During his tenure, he managed business units in Europe, Asia and North
America, negotiated and successfully integrated over 20 acquisitions, started overseas
operations from scratch, formed joint ventures and developed licensing and franchise
programs around the world.
He served and serves on a number of corporate boards of US subsidiaries, as Chairman of
an Industry Association of Plastic Manufacturers in Germany, the Board of German
American Schools, the International Advisory Council of the Los Angeles Economic
Development Corporation and the German American Business Association of Southern
California.
Achim W. Hoelzle, Managing Partner Attorney at Law
Achim Hoelzle is an attorney admitted in California and Germany and has over 14
years of experience representing companies on general corporate and intellectual
property matters gained at leading law firms such as Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison
LLP and Squire, Sanders & Dempsey LLP (formerly Graham & James LLP). Achim
advises numerous German venture capital funds and German small and medium
sized businesses in their U.S. activities.
Achim currently serves as the co-chair of the New Media Industry Group of the
German American Business Association (GABA), is a member of the Swiss American
Chamber of Commerce and the Licensing Executive Society (Germany). He is a
frequent guest speaker on German-American legal topics.
