Any handling during installation of the Dräger Interlock® XT requires
full understanding and strict observation of these instructions.
For operation, the respective instructions for use have to be followed.
Einbau
Der Einbau darf nur von einem autorisierten Dräger-Interlock®Servicezentrum oder einer Fachwerkstatt entsprechend dieser Installationsanweisung durchgeführt werden.
Installation
Installation may only be carried out by an authorised Dräger
Interlock® Service Center or a professional auto repair shop
according to these instructions for installation.
Zubehör
Nur das in der Bestell-Liste der Gebrauchsanweisung aufgeführte
Zubehör verwenden.
Accessories
Do not use accessory parts other than those in the order list of the
instructions for use.

Liability for proper function or damage
The liability for the proper function of the Dräger Interlock® XT is
irrevocably transferred to the owner or operator to the extent that the
Dräger Interlock® XT is installed improperly by personnel not
employed by DrägerService or authorised by Dräger.
Dräger cannot be held responsible for damage caused by non-compliance with the recommendations given above.
The warranty and liability provisions of the terms of sale and delivery
of Dräger are likewise not modified by the recommendations given
above.

Veränderungen oder Zusätze an dem Dräger Interlock® XT
können zu Gefahren führen.
Durch solche Veränderungen oder Zusätze wird die in der Gebrauchsanweisung enthaltene Einbaubescheinigung ungültig.
Das Dräger Interlock® XT nur zur Unterbrechung, bzw. Freigabe
der Steuerleitung des Anlasserrelais verwenden.
Ist der Stromverbrauch in Bereitschaft (siehe Technische Daten in
der Gebrauchsanweisung) für das entsprechende Fahrzeug zu
groß, eine Fahrzeugbatterie mit größerer Kapazität verwenden.
Das Gerät ersetzt keine eventuell vorgeschriebene Wegfahrsperre gegen Diebstahl.

The instrument is not a substitute for a vehicle immobilizer for theft
protection.

Steuergerät

anderen Einbauort wählen.
Control Box
● Install control box as hidden as possible. For example, under the
seat or front dash on the steering column. Fix with cable ties. Other
more permanent methods may be used only after consultation with
the owner of the vehicle.
● Draw leads up along steering column wire harness and temporarily secure in place. If leads are too short for connecting to ignitionswitch wire harness, reposition control box.

● Push Dräger thermo-shrinkable tubing over the joint and shrink
by heat application. Because of that a future change or manipulation at the joint can be detected.
● Connect in the same way also the two remaining starter relay leads
using the Dräger thermo-shrinkable tubing.

Hupe und Scheinwerfer anschließen
Connecting Horn and Head Lights
Spezielle Vorschriften können es erforderlich machen, Hupe und/
oder Scheinwerfer an das Dräger Interlock® XT anzuschließen. Wenn
dies der Fall ist:
● Schaltart der Hupe, bzw. der Scheinwerfer feststellen: +12 V oder
Masse.
● Geeignete Anschlussstellen suchen und Hupe entsprechend
dem Anschlussplan an das Hupen-Relais des Dräger Interlock®
XT anschließen (Anschlüsse „Horn Relay, 9 und 10“, weiß und
gelb, siehe Seite 6).

● Scheinwerfer analog an das Scheinwerfer-Relais des Dräger Interlock® XT anschließen (Anschlüsse „High-beams, 11 und 12“, violett und orange, siehe Seite 6).
