Install Memory Card

Remove the back cover and
battery from your phone.

Slide holder shut and lock into place.
The card will not work unless it is
inserted properly and locked into
place.

Lift the card holder up and
insert the card with the gold
contacts facing down.
Position the card so the notch
in the card compartment on
the phone lines up with the
groove on the card.

Replace the battery and back cover.

You can save pictures and
videos on the phone or memory
card. View or change the
storage setting before you take
the picture or start to record.

cable to the accessory
port on your phone and
the other end to an
available USB port on

Drag and drop files between
your computer and memory
card. When transferring files
to your phone, use the
following folders:
mobile/picture - pictures,
wallpaper,
screen
savers
mobile/video - video clips
mobile/audio - MP3 files
Note: MP3 files transferred
this way cannot be played in
iTunes on your phone. To load
music files on your phone for
playback, use the iTunes
software on your computer.

Before disconnecting the cable
If you are using a PC, right click
the Safely Remove Hardware icon
at the bottom of your computer
screen. Then select USB Mass
Storage Device and Stop.
If you are using a Mac, drag the
Removable Disk icon to the Trash.

Select USB Mass Storage Device
and press OK.
Now it is safe to disconnect the cable.

Find where your phone's memory card
displays as a Removable Disk icon. On
a PC, this is the My Computer window.
On a Mac, it's on the desktop.

Scroll to USB Settings,
then press the joystick.
Double click the Removable Disk icon
to access the files on your phone's
memory card.

right to change the USB
connection back to
Data/Fax.

Before you can transfer
songs to your phone, you
must install the iTunes®
software on your computer
using the CD provided in the
box with your phone. Follow
the steps in this demo after
you install iTunes on your
computer.

Your phone will appear in the Source
list in the left pane of the iTunes
window. If this is the first time you have
connected your phone to iTunes, you
may be asked to name your phone.
Scroll right to change the
USB connection to the
memory card.
Press the Menu key.

Click on Library in the Source list.
Open iTunes from the Start menu
on a PC or from the dock on a Mac.

Connect one end of the
Motorola Original USB

Drag and drop songs, albums, or
playlists to your phone
-orClick Autofill at the bottom of the
screen to automatically transfer a
random selection of songs to your

memory card in your phone
to use iTunes.

You will see a message at the
top of the iTunes screen when
the music transfer is complete. If
you still see Do Not Disconnect
on your phone and you want to
disconnect your phone:
PC: Quit iTunes and use the
Safely Remove Hardware icon
at the bottom of your computer
screen to disconnect your
phone.
Mac: Click on the Eject button
next to the phone icon in iTunes.

back to Data/Fax.

To add music to your iTunes
library, you can purchase music
from the iTunes Music Store or
import CDs.
Scroll to a song,
then press PLAY.
To learn more, visit
www.apple.com/support/itunes
for information on how to load
music into iTunes.
Press the joystick up or down to
adjust the volume.
While a song is playing:
Press the joystick left or right to
go to the previous or next song.
Press the iTunes key.

You can also press PLAY to
play songs from a playlist,
album, or artist. To play songs
in random order, scroll to
Shuffle Songs and press PLAY.
To select a specific song, first
scroll to Artists, then scroll
right to see the list of artists
on your phone.

Scroll to an artist, then scroll
right to see a list of the artist's
albums.

Scroll to an album, then scroll
right to see the list of the songs
on the album.
Hold the joystick to the left or
right to rewind or fast forward
the current song.

Take and Send a Picture

Press the Camera key.

to zoom in or out, and left or
right to adjust the image
brightness.

Press Store.

then press the joystick.
In this demo, we'll show you
how to send the picture in a
message.

Press Capture.
You can enter a short message
to send with the picture. Enter
your message and then press
SEND TO, or just press SEND TO
to send the picture without a
message.

Pick the message recipients by
scrolling to one or more names
and pressing the joystick after
selecting each one. When all
names are selected, press
SEND.
Tip: To deselect a name,
highlight it and press the center
navigation key. It is deselected
when the checkmark
disappears.

View Your Pictures

viewing the pictures on your phone
and the pictures on the memory

then press VIEW.

folding boom microphone.
The LED should remain
steadily lit.

until the LED turns on and
remains steadily lit.

If the LED is flashing or does not

the headset is fully charged and
then repeat this step.

When pairing is successful, the
LED on the headset changes
from steadily lit to flashing.

headset on and make a call.
If your phone and headset are
successfully paired, you will hear
