Symposium HPV and Cervical Cancer July 3-4, 2014 in Heidelberg Symposium HPV and Cervical Cancer Dear colleagues, it is our pleasure to invite you to the symposium on HPV and Cervical Cancer to be held on July 3rd and 4th in Heidelberg jointly organized by the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and the Universitätsklinikum Tübingen. The first half day will be devoted to novel trends in HPV research with an introductory lecture by Professor Margaret Stanley on the immune biology of human papillomaviruses as well as with aspects of prevention and immune therapy of HPV infection and associated diseases. During the second part we will focus on epidemiology and diagnostics of HPV infections with special emphasis on screening for the prevention of cervical cancer. We are glad to announce that we could engage internationally renowned experts and excellent speakers which will present up-to-date information.
