Special Management Zones
These zones protect the integrity of the high quality
canoeing wilderness experience along major river
corridors in the park. The following restrictions apply
June 1 to September 15:
- Aircraft landings and take-offs are limited to designated
drop-off and pick-up points.
- Recreational powerboating is not permitted, however
powered whitewater rafts are permitted on the
Pigeon River portion of this zone.
