FCC Normierung und CE Normierung
Dieses Gerät wurde auf Einhaltung der Bestimmungen der FCC
Richtlinien für Digitalgeräte der Klasse B gemäß Abschnitt 15
getestet sowie der CE Richtlinien gemäß Klasse B EN 55022 und
EN 55024. Diese Bestimmungen garantieren Schutz gegen schädigende Interferenzen bei der Installation in einer Wohnungsumgebung. Dieses Gerät erzeugt und verwendet Hochfrequenzenergie
und kann diese auch abstrahlen. Bei unsachgemäßer Installation
und Bedienung kann der Funkverkehr empfindlich gestört werden.
Es ist jedoch nicht ausgeschlossen, dass bei einer bestimmten
Installation Störungen auftreten. Ob das Gerät den Radio- oder
Fernsehempfang empfindlich stört, kann durch ein Zurücksetzen
des Geräts ermittelt werden. Sollten entsprechende Störungen
auftreten, kann der Anwender versuchen, mit den folgenden Maßnahmen Abhilfe zu schaffen:

Richten Sie die Empfangsantenne anders aus.

Vergrößern Sie den Abstand zwischen Gerät und Receiver.

Schließen Sie das Gerät und den Receiver an verschiedene
Stromkreise an.
Bitte wenden Sie sich ggf. an Ihren Händler oder einen qualifizierten Techniker.
Hinweis:
Änderungen oder Modifikationen, die der Hersteller nicht ausdrücklich schriftlich genehmigt hat, entziehen dem Anwender
die Nutzungserlaubnis.
Sofern erforderlich, müssen abgeschirmte Interfacekabel und
ein Wechselstrom-Netzanschluss-Adapter verwendet werden, um
den Emissionseinschränkungen zu entsprechen.

1. Installation
A. Hardware Installation
Bitte überprüfen Sie folgende Punkte bevor Sie mit der Installation beginnen:
Windows 2000, XP(32/64bit), Vista(32/64bit)oder Windows 7
(32/64 bit) ist ordnungsgemäß auf Ihrem PC installiert
und läuft stabil.
Eine eventuell vorhandene vorherige Soundkarte wurde
deinstalliert und die zugehörige Software vollständig
entfernt.
Eine eventuell vorhandene On-Board-Soundkarte wurde
deinstalliert, die zugehörige Software vollständig entfernt und die Karte ordnungsgemäß im BIOS deaktiviert.
Weitere Infos zum Deaktivieren im BIOS finden Sie im
Handbuch Ihres Motherboards oder erfahren Sie beim Hersteller Ihres Motherboards.
Ihr Computer wurde herunter gefahren, und alle Kabelverbindungen zum Computer wurden entfernt.
1. Öffnen Sie das Computer-Gehäuse.
2. Stecken Sie die Soundkarte in einen freien PCI-Steckplatz
auf das Motherboard des Computers und fixieren Sie die
Karte mit einer Schraube im Gehäuse.
3. Schließen Sie das Computer-Gehäuse und verbinden Sie alle
Kabel wieder mit dem Computer.
B. Treiber Installation
Bei den verschiedenen Betriebssystemen gibt es leichte Unterschiede im Design. Daher können die Abbildungen abweichen.
Führen Sie die Schritte dann bitte entsprechend der üblichen
Installationsroutine Ihres Betriebssystems aus. (hier Windows
XP)
1. Nach dem Start des Betriebssystems meldet sich der
„Hardwareupdate Assistent“. Wählen Sie hier bitte „Abbrechen“.
2. Legen Sie bitte die Treiber CD ein.
3. Der Installationsassistent startet automatisch (Sollte
die CD nicht automatisch starten, starten Sie die CD
bitte manuell, indem Sie unter „Arbeitsplatz“ doppelt
auf das Symbol für Ihr CD-ROM Laufwerk klicken.)
4. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen.
5. Die Treiber werden nun installiert.
6. Zum Abschluss der Installation ist ein Neustart des
Computers notwendig. Bestätigen Sie bitte mit „Ok“.
7. Die Installation ist nach dem Neustart erfolgreich abgeschlossen.

C. Treiber Deinstallation
1. Öffnen
Sie
bitte
die
Systemsteuerung
(StartEinstellungenSystemsteuerung)
und
wählen
Sie
durch Doppelklicken „Software“.
2. Wählen Sie nun aus der Liste „C-Media PCI Audio“ aus und
klicken auf „Entfernen“.
3. Folgen Sie nun den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm und
starten Sie anschließend Ihren Rechner neu.
2. Konfiguration
Nach erfolgreicher Installation finden Sie ein neues Symbol in
Ihrer Taskleiste.
Klicken Sie bitte auf dieses Symbol, um das Konfigurationsprogramm für die Soundkarte zu öffnen. In diesem Programm können
Sie die Soundkarte einstellen und testen.

1. Installation
A. Hardware Installation
Before you start please check as follows:
Windows 2000, XP(32/64bit), Vista(32/64bit) or Windows 7
(32/64 bit) has been installed in your system and is
running properly.
Any other sound card was deinstalled and the software
completely removed.
If your system has Sound On Board please deinstall the
sound card completely, remove the software and deactivate
the sound card in BIOS. For more information please check
the manual of your motherboard or contact the
manufacturer of your motherboard.
Turn off your computer and disconnect all power cords.
4. Remove the case of your computer. (Refer to your PC ‘s
manual for more details.)
5. Plug the Sound Card into any free 32 bit expansion PCI
slot of your motherboard and fix it with a screw in your
computer.
6. Connect the audio cable of your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
with the CD-IN socket of the Sound Card. You can connect
another device with the AUX-IN socket of your Sound Card.
7. Put the computer cover case on and reconnect the power
cords.
B. Software Installation
Various operating systems can slightly differ in their
designs. Therefore the diagrams may not look exactly like
yours. Please follow the instructions referring to your
operating system. (Example: Windows XP)
1. After starting your operating system the “Hardwareupdate
Assistant” will show up. Please choose „Cancel“.
2. Please insert the driver CD.
3. The installation starts automatically. Should the CD not
start automatically please start it manually by doubleclick on the symbol for your CD-ROM drive.
4. Please follow the instruction
5. The Driver will install
6. To finish the installation please restart your computer.
Confirm with „Ok“.
7. The installation is now completed..

C. Software Deinstallation
1. Please open „system navigation“ (StartSettingsSystem
Navigation) and double-click on „Software“.
2. Please select „C-Media PCI Audio“ and click on „Remove“.
3. Please follow the on-screen instructions, and then
restart your computer.
2. Konfiguration
After the installation there is a new symbol on the screen.
Please click on this symbol to open the configuration program
for the Sound Card. Here You can set and test your Sound Card.
