Stuttgart, Leipzig, Berlin, Hanover, Frankfurt, Cologne, Duesseldorf
or Hamburg for a
Inspector for Consumer Goods
(as a Freelancer)
Job duties:
• Conduct product inspections across Germany, Austria and Switzerland associated
with clients and Interteks’ standards
• Review all technical documents relating to the inspection services and provide
comments/summaries - liaise with the clients about technical issues as needed
• Assist Customer Services team to handle client enquiries and feedback on new
services
• Assure the consistency of inspection approach, reporting and work quality
• Build clients loyalty through technical support, product enhancement &
improvements
• Conducting process reviews
Basic requirements:
• Experience in product inspections for softlines as textiles including garments, fabric,
footwear, etc. and hardlines including toys, cookware, furniture, stationery, etc.
• Academic achievement with college graduate level/diploma or degree holder in
textiles, toys, furniture, houseware, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German required any other language ideally
• Ability to multitask, to be flexible, to work under pressure and independently
• Good analytical skills and proactive solution provider
• Ability to communicate clearly, persuasively & concisely, at every level of a business
• Ability to manage issues and address concerns
• Own car required
• Technically competent with MS Office tools
