BEITEN BURKHARDT Advises Skjerven Group on Package Sale of Eight Apartment
Buildings in Berlin
Frankfurt am Main, 14 July 2014 – International commercial law firm BEITEN BURKHARDT
has comprehensively advised the investment firm Skjerven Group on the sale of eight
apartment buildings in Berlin to an international family office. The properties were part of the
BSA Berlin portfolio managed by Skjerven Group. The transaction volume amounts to
EUR 32m.
The BSA Fund managed by Skjerven Group has been investing in residential properties in
Berlin since 2006. From 2006 until 2008, the fund acquired more than 50 apartment
complexes with a total value of around EUR 150m. With the sale of eight properties and the
privatisation of 15 properties, Skjerven Group demonstrates to its investors the positive
development of the fund.
BEITEN BURKHARDT has been a regular advisor of Skjerven Group. The team around
Klaus Beine has, among other things, advised the Norwegian fund on the acquisition of the
apartment buildings. BEITEN BURKHARDT once again became active on behalf of Skjerven
Group, rendering advice on real estate and tax law issues.
