Moon Harbour Inhouse Vol.4:
Drei Jahre ist es her, dass die letzte Moon Harbour Inhouse Compilation erschien. Hier kommt “Moon Harbour Inhouse Vol.4”.
Nach dem bewährten Konzept ist auch diese Ausgabe eine Werkschau des aktuellen Schaffens der Moon Harbour Künstler.
Neben exklusiven Tracks von Matthias Tanzmann, Luna City Express, Dan Drastic, Ekkohaus, Martinez, Italoboyz, Andy
Catana und Blind Minded sind auch diesmal wieder besondere Gäste wie Reboot, Guido Schneider, Boris Werner sowie tINI &
Marc Antona auf der Compilation vertreten. Die Liste der Künstler zeigt deutlich, dass sich Moon Harbour in den letzten Jahren
zu einem international agierenden Label entwickelt hat. Zusammengestellt und gemixt wurde die Compilation von Dan Drastic,
der schon seit mehr als 7 Jahren zum festen Künstlerstamm von Moon Harbour gehört und hier vor kurzem seine “Noodle
Stories EP” veröffentlichte. Er hosted regelmässig die Moon Harbour Nights im Leipziger Club Distillery und gehört neben
Matthias Tanzmann und Luna City Express zu den aktivsten Moon Harbour DJs.
Musikalisch wird auf “Moon Harbour Inhouse Vol. 4” gekonnt der Bogen gespannt zwischen dem Deep House von Luna City
Express und Ekkohaus, dem reduzierten groovigen Tech House á la tINI & Marc Antona, Andy Catana oder Boris Werner und
den Floorfillern von Reboot und Dan Drastic. Die Auswahl der Tracks spiegelt somit das aktuelle stilistische Spektrum des
Labels in seinem 12ten Jahr wider.
Seit der dritten Ausgabe der Inhouse Compilations ist viel passiert bei Moon Harbour. Neben den Veröffentlichungen der
Künstleralben “Hello From Planet Earth” von Luna City Express (2009) und “Paradigm Shift” von Martinez (2010) wurde 2010
ausgiebig das zehnjährige Labeljubiläum samt Compilation und Clubtour “Ten Years Of Moon Harbour” gefeiert. 2010 war
zudem das Geburtsjahr der monatlichen Moon Harbour Radio Show, die von Luna City Express und Dan Drastic im Wechsel
produziert wird und schon auf über 25 Ausgaben kommt.
Ein weiteres Jubiläum konnte im Jahr 2011 begangen werden: das Schwesterlabel Cargo Edition feierte sein fünfjähriges
Bestehen mit der Compilation “Five Years Of Cargo Edition”. Im Sommer erschien zudem auf Moon Harbour die CompilationCD “Circoloco @ DC10 Ibiza - The Next Level”, gemixt von Matthias Tanzmann und Davide Squillace. Dieses Jahr begann
bereits mit einem weiteren wichtigen Schritt: mit Moon Harbour Digital hat das Label jetzt einen Digital-Ableger. Hier
erschienen bisher Releases von Arado & Marco Faraone, ONNO und Nil By Mouth.
Anlässlich der Veröffentlichung von “Moon Harbour Inhouse Vol.4” wird es zahlreiche Release-Showcases geben.
Dan Drastic:
Daniel Faulwasser aka Dan Drastic ist eine verlässliche Konstante für qualitativ hochwertige House-Sets in Deutschland. Neben
seinen DJ-Qualitäten hat er besonders in den letzten Jahren auch als Produzent überzeugt. Darüber hinaus hat er sich als
Moderator und Produzent der monatlichen Moon Harbour Radio Show eine weltweite Fangemeinde aufgebaut.
In den 90ern war er bereits ein aktiver DJ und organisierte Partys in seiner Heimatstadt Chemnitz. Im Jahr 2004 zog er nach
Leipzig. Hier wurde er schnell in die Moon Harbour Familie aufgenommen und brachte seine ersten Produktionen auf
Highgrade, Lorna, Curl Curl und dem englischen Label Hairy Claw herraus, welches zu Stevie Kotey’s Labelkollektiv Bear
Entertainment gehörte.
Ende des Sommers 2008 wurde seine erste EP “Slice Of Life” auf Moon Harbour veröffentlicht. Dieser Track war der Start für
Dan Drastics reguläre Präsenz bei Moon Harbour. Es folgten Kooperationen mit Chris Lattner und Matthias Tanzmann und
Veröffentlichungen auf diversen Moon Harbour Labelcompilations sowie auf weiteren Labels wie Luna Records und Rrygular,
letztere zusammen mit seinem Freund Andreas Eckhardt. Außerdem baten ihn Künstler wie Luna City Express und Simon
Flower um Remixe. Anfang 2012 erschien seine „Noodle Stories EP“ auf Moon Harbour. Bald darauf mixte er die neue
Labelcompilation „Moon Harbour Inhouse Vol.4“, die im Juni erscheinen wird.
Seit 2011 produziert und moderiert er die monatlich ausgestrahlte Moon Harbour Radio Show, abwechselnd mit Luna City
Express. Die Show hat sich bereits einen großen internationalen Hörerstamm aufgebaut und läuft weltweit in diversen
Internetradios, wie z.B. Ibiza Sonica Radio und Samurai FM.
Dan Drastic ist ein Garant für den Dancefloor. Mittlerweile wird er in ganz Europa gebucht und spielte bereits in Clubs und auf
Partys wie Studio80 (Amsterdam), Watergate (Berlin), Panoramabar (Berlin), The Zoo Project (Ibiza) und Robert Johnson
(Offenbach). In Leipzig hostet er die alle zwei Monate stattfindenden Moon Harbour Flights in der legendären Distillery.
