Surface treatment with aluminum oxide
blasting followed by passivation combines
ideal texture and porosity for an excellent
biological effect, providing conditions
for osseointegration and clinical success.
The Dentoflex implants provide a surface
roughness up to 300 times greater than
a machined surface, increasing the boneimplant contact surface by up to six times,
obtaining excellent primary stability.

Presentation of the new
Families of Implants
Dear
Doctor
You are receiving a new catalog of Dentoflex
products.
Through it we present our new products,
packages and a more ergonomic organization of
our implants and prosthetic components.
The classification of our products through
FAMILIES aims at facilitating the identification of
the products by our consumers to enable quick
search and greater ease during purchase.
Our packaging is more practical, allowing a clearer
view of the product and a much greater ease in
removing the implant, which now has a tearing
section for opening the primary packaging and
surgical paper in its secondary packaging.
Our classic implants (cylindrical internal hexagon
and cylindrical external hexagon) no longer have
the plastic transporter or metal mount because
they are now all Internal Torque type, that is,
the implant is captured from the packaging,
transported and initially inserted on the created
surgical alveolus through a contra-angle driver.
This provides greater safety, less time and greater
ease in your surgical procedure. Furthermore,
our insertion drivers gained a vertical mark and
identification for its use, once more facilitating
its use and enabling visual of the position of the
hexagon of the implant when its veneers are in
the vestibular position, optimizing the choice
of prosthetic component when this implant is
inclined in any direction.
Lastly, Dentoflex continues its efforts in the
development and improvement processes of its
products in order for the most important person
to us to always have the best to work with: You!

The Supreme family of implants is
characterized by a very high primary
stability in all types of bones, which in
most cases enables the application of the
immediate loading technique in multiple
or single prostheses.
These implants have a tapered body
and three different thread shapes: at
the apex of the implant, the “V” shaped
threads provide a high cutting power of
the bone; in the central part of the body,
the trapezoidal threads help the primary
stability of the implant, besides helping
blood-clot retention, and lastly the square
threads located close to the implant
platform, which will increase the initial
stability of the implant and absorb up to
10 times the stress caused by mandible
excursion when compared to “V” shaped
threads.
The grooves between the threads further
increase the contact between the surface
of the implant and the bone tissue.
In addition to this, the implants of the
Supreme family have the Platform Switch,
which requires the use of components
of smaller diameter when compared to
the size of the implant platform, which
significantly reduces bone height loss
around the implant.
There is also surface treatment on the
entire body of the implant and they are
produced in commercially pure titanium
grade IV
The Supreme Family Implants are
presented in three types of prosthetic
connections:
Morse
Taper,
Internal
Hexagon and External Hexagon

The Classic family implants represent the
entire tradition and safety of Dentoflex
implants. Having a cylindrical body, micro
threads on the prosthetic platform, four
cutting grooves on its apex, but with
significant improvements, such as surface
treatment on the entire body of the
implant and platform switch, produced in
commercially pure titanium grade IV.
Another significant improvement was
the elimination of mounts, now replaced
by counter angle switches on both the
internal hexagon and external hexagon
to capture, transport and execute the
initial installation of the implant, highly
facilitating the day-to-day of the dental
surgeon.
The implants of the Classic family are
supplied with implant cover and already
have the new more practical and safer
packaging.

The ARROW family implants have a
cylindrical body, metric threads on the body
and micro threads close to the prosthetic
platform, whose function is to aid the
primary stability of the implant, especially
when there is a bone quality with narrow
range of cortical and porous bone, besides
having a sharp and cutting apex, which
facilitates its insertion.
The ARROW family implants are indicated
for low density bones, types III and IV, and
they cause an expansion of the medullary
portion of the receptor bone when inserted,
besides having the action of the micro
threads on the bone corticomedullary
transition region.
The work with mills is reduced (in most
cases only the spear milling cutter is used),
which reduces the transoperative time.
The prosthetic platforms available are the
Morse Taper and Internal Hexagon types.

Seeking a practical and fast solution
for the production of a bar for protocol,
where the professional can obtain a reliable solution and reduce the time of entry
of the prosthesis, DENTOFLEX presents
the latest option for the production of
protocol bar: DENTOFLEX ARTICULATED BAR – IGLESIAS PROTOCOL.
Manufactured in commercially titanium
ASTM F136, the ARTICULATED BAR is
a total adjustable bar in its three movement axes (horizontal, vertical and lateral) according to the distance between
the installed implants.
The bar has extenders with plunger inside it, and these move in the horizontal
direction allowing the bar to have a bigger or smaller length according to the
distance between the installed implants.
The plungers can also be easily curved
to obtain the best direction on the curvature of the mandibular and/or maxillary arch.
As the ARTICULATED BAR is mounted
on miruscones (mini pillar), it allows a
passive adaptation in the insertion of the
protocol prosthesis.
This ARTICULATED BAR enables a level
of freedom of three-dimensional movement that, at the end of its mounting, after a mechanical fixation aided by a joint
through the autopolymerizable resin,
makes it rigid, enabling its installation in
majority of the cases.
The ARTICULATED BAR is indicated for
most cases. With the use of the Articulated Bar, the production and acrylization
of the prosthesis before the installation
of the bar becomes possible, in cases
of immediate or late loading or work together with the denture technician, with
waxing and acrylization of the piece.
An efficient, fast and practical solution
is what the ARTICULATED BAR offers to
the dental surgeon, thereby optimizing
the time necessary for a prosthetic restoration on protocol implants.
Plunger
The plunger together with the extender
make up the rod (retractable arm). They
are used between two implants in areas
where there is no curvature of the arch. If
necessary, due to a space smaller than the
size of the extender between the implants,
both can be sectioned with a carborundum disk in the size
ideal for the available space.
Double inlet straight sleeve
Screw
They are used for locking the retractable
arm. They should be used on the sleeve or
on the extender with a torque of 20 N/cm,
with the aid of a hex driver of 1.20 and a
prosthetic torque wrench
6
Extensor
The extender together with the
plunger make up the retractable arm.
They are used between two implants
in areas where there is no curvature
of the arch. If a space smaller than
the size of the extender between the implants is required,
both can be sectioned with a carborundum disk in the size
ideal for the available space. The extender has two threads
(use only one) used for the perfect lock of the system. It
has a ball that should be introduced into one of the sleeve
inlets.
THE ARTICULATED BAR FOR 6 IMPLANTS CONTAIN:
1
One inlet straight sleeve: 2 items
2
Double inlet straight sleeve: 4 items
3
Miniscrew: 6 units
4
Screw: 15 units

ARTICULATED BAR
PREFABRICATED ARTICULATED BAR
FOR PROTOCOL WITH CANTILEVER
With a smaller length of bone availability when there is lack of bone height at the posterior region
of the dental arch, the space available for insertion of implants becomes evidently more restricted,
which forces the dental surgeon to install the implants closer to each other, and the bar for protocol
must contain a cantilever in order to have a biomechanical gain in occlusion and greater resistance
of the prosthesis to the occlusal loads.
Contemplating this, Dentoflex developed an Articulated Bar with bilateral cantilever, and this bar
specifically containing insertions of the more lingualized extenders, which facilitates mounting of
the bar with a closer distribution between the implants.
As accessory, one rod with titanium balls can be used between the implants in very close positions,
which may be easily cut into a suitable size between two implants. The length of the cantilever can
be cut or curved, following the path of the alveolar crest.
ADVANTAGES
• Up to 50%* reduction of prosthesis production time
• Complete adaptation of the Bar to the prosthetic component
• Guaranteed passivity of the prosthesis
• Up to 45%* reduction of the final cost of the prosthesis (in the domestic market)
• Fully adaptable bar in the horizontal, vertical and lateral direction
• Bar produced in titanium ASTM F136, lighter in comparison to the traditional cast bar.
CLINICAL CASE

The set of balls is used together with
the double inlet sleeve (messial–

the centers of the miruscones is lesser
than 11 and greater than 8 mm.
When the distance is between 6.5 and
8 mm, the double inlet sleeve should be
used for short distances (lingual).

formation. The BETApro® is then absorbed
and later replaced by natural bone during the
regeneration process. BETApro® is supplied
in granules and blocks that have a structure
similar to human bone. The interconnected
porous structure of BETApro® acts as an
osteoconductive matrix for the growth of
bone cells and blood vessels.
O enxerto ósseo BETApro® é indicado para o preenchimento e restauração dos defeitos ósseos nos
seguintes casos:
• Reconstruções Bucomaxilofacial;
• Preenchimento das cavidades ósseas de regiões
decorrentes de lesões, doenças degenerativas e
perdas ósseas;
• Preenchimento de crista alveolar decorrentes de
atrofias;
• Alargamento do seio e base do seio maxilar;
• Defeitos após remoção cirúrgica e osteotomias
corretivas;
• Lesões intra-ósseas periodontais;
• Lesões periapicais;
• Substituto de defeitos ósseos cirúrgicos não infectados;
• Cirurgia plástica e reconstrutiva seja de fragmentos removidos cirurgicamente ou áreas lesadas;
• Pseudoartroses, artrodeses inclusive vertebrais;
• Operações de implantes como substituto ósseo.

SOLUBILIDADE

DENTOFLEX | IMPLANTS SYSTEM
No início da regeneração, no processo inflamatório, o material deve permanecer estável. Não deve
quebrar, dissolver-se e perder estabilidade devido
à ação de fluídos e células locais. A microestrutura
a regeneração óssea. A Figura 1 ilustra a microestrutura dos grãos sinterizados o que confere maior
estabilidade ao enxerto.
