II ZUSAMENBAU DES GERÄTES
II ASSEMBLY OF THE MICROSCOPE
Nach Auspacken des Mikroskopes wird die Abdeckung vom Okularkopf(2) entfernt. Es kann
dann das Okular(1) eingesetzt werden.
After unpacking the microscope out of the box
remove the cap of the eyepiece head(2) and insert
the eyepiece(1).
Es werden dann die Kappen aus dem Objektivrevolver(10) entfernt und die drei Objektive (9)
aus den Plastikdosen ausgepackt und in die drei
Positionen des Objektivrevolvers eingeschraubt.
Unscrew the caps of the lens turret(10). Remove
the three lenses (9) from their plastic boxes and
screw them into the three positions in the lens
turret.
Nach Abnahme der Schutzabdeckungen am Tisch
(3) und Lampe(7) ist das Mikroskop mit seinen
Grundfunktionen gebrauchsfertig.
After removing the covers from table(3) and lamp
housing(7) the microscope is ready for use.
III BEDIENGSHINWEISE
III OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Turn on the main switch (6).
Put a sample on a slide on the table (3)
and fix it with the clips.

Focus with the 4x or 10x lens onto the
sample by the coarse focus knob (4)

Swivel the chosen lens (10).
Adjust the fine focus with the fine
adjustment knob (5)
Position the aperture diaphragm or pin
diaphragm (8) correctly.

Das Anschlußkabel mit der Stromversorgung verbinden.
Netzschalter(6) einschalten.
Auf ein Glaplättchen eine Probe aufbringen und auf dem Tisch (3) mit den
Klammern fixieren.
Mit der Grobeinstellung(4) und einem 4x
oder 10x Objectiv das Abbild scharf
einstellen.
Das gewünschte Objektiv(10) wählen.
Mit der Feineinstellung(5) den Focus
einstellen.
Den Kondensor mit der Blende korrekt
positionieren.

Zur Erlangung einer optimalen Bildqualität soll die
Blendenöffnung ca. 70-80% der Objektivaperture
betragen. Durch Entfernen des Okulares ist es
möglich, die korrekte Einstellung der Blende zu
prüfen. Die Aperturabbildung kann durch den
Lichtstrahl erkannt werden.
To obtain an optimal image quality the diaphragm
opening should normally be 70-80% of the
objective aperture. lt is possible to control the
correct adjustrnent of the aperture diaphragm by
removing the eyepiece. The aperture image can be
recognised by the beam path.
Wenn das Bild nicht scharf eingestellt werden
kann, muß die Anschlagschraube, die sich hinter
dem Kreuztisch befindet, so weit herausgedreht
werden, bis der Tisch sich weit genug anheben
läßt.
If you do not get a sharp image, the stop screw
behind the table must turn out until the table
can be lifted up high enough.

V VORSICHTSMAßNAHMEN
V PRECAUSIONS
Das Mikroskop soll wie alle Präzisionsgeräte
sorgfältig behandelt werden.
Schützen Sie das Mikroskop vor Staub, Niederschlag, Vibration und vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung.
Bevor Sie die Lampe wechseln, ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
Halten Sie die Optik extrem sauber. Staub kann
man mit einem weichen Pinsel oder sauberer Luft
entfernen. Fingerabdrücke entfernt man mit einem
fusselfreiem Tuch, welches in einer Mixtur von
Äther und Alkohol (80% Äther und 20% Alkohol) getränkt ist, oder mit einem speziellem
Reinigungspapier aus dem Fotohandel.
Benutzen Sie bitte keine ätzenden Reinigungsmittel
für das Mikroskop.
Im Falle eines Fehlers soll das Mikroskop von der
Firma A. KRÜSS oder einer authorisierten
Werkstatt repariert werden.
Nach Gebrauch das Mikroskop wieder in den
Karton stellen oder mit einer Staubschutzhülle
schützen.
Please handle your rnicroscope with the care one
accords to all precision instruments.
Protect your microscope from dust, dampness,
vibration and especially from direct sunlight.
Before changing the lamp remove the plug from
the wall outlet.
Keep the surface of the lenses extremly clean.
Dust may be removed with a fine brush or with
clean air. Finger prints can be removed with a
fluff-free cloth soaked in a mixture of ether and
alcohol (80% ether & 20% of 98% alcohol) or
with a special cleaning paper for lenses available
in photographic stores.
Do not use any caustic cleaning fluids on the outer
surface of the microscope.
In the event of fault your microscope should be
repaired by A. KRÜSS or by an authorised
representativ.
After use place the microscope in the case or
cover it with a plastic covering.
