ORNAMENTAL ABSTRACTIONS is a photography-based digital arts project and design line by Veronika Bernard.
Veronika Bernard has been creating pictures and taking photos for about 30 years. She started with classical painting and photography. In 2002 she turned to using
electronically supported techniques in creating her works.
To create her images she takes photos with a digital camera. Different filters are used on the photos; occasionally parts of the photos are re-arranged in the process.
The central idea of her ORNAMENTAL ABSTRACTIONS project is to lift the colour potential and the ornamental structures present, but hidden, in photos to the
surface of the final images.
The works are either finalized by producing a digital colour print on matt white cardboard or on matt white paper (350 gram minimum), ranging from A4 to A3 in
size, on white cotton (with images size A4 or smaller) or canvas (with images size A3 or larger), or they are used as designs with the ORNAMENTAL
ABSTRACTIONS design line and are printed on cushions and silk scarves.

ORNAMENTAL ABSTRACTIONS ist Design Linie und digitales Kunstprojekt basierend auf Fotografie von Veronika Bernard.
Veronika Bernard ist seit 30 Jahren künstlerisch tätig. Sie begann mit Amateur-Malerei und traditioneller Fotografie. Seit 2002 arbeitet sie digital.
Ihre Arbeiten gehen auf Digitalfotos zurück, die sie nach dem Aufnehmen mit Filtern bearbeitet und gelegentlich in Teilen neu arrangiert. Ihr ORNAMENTAL
ABSTRACTIONS Projekt folgt der Idee, das in Fotos vorhandene, aber zunächst nicht sichtbare, farbliche und strukturelle Potential sichtbar zu machen.
Die Arbeiten werden als digitale Farbdrucke in den Formaten A4 bis A3 auf matten weißen Karton oder auf mattes weißes Papier (Mindeststärke 350 Gramm), auf
weiße Baumwolle (bei Format A4 oder kleiner) oder auf Leinwand (bei Format A3 oder größer) aufgebracht, oder sie werden als ORNAMENTAL
ABSTRACTIONS Designs auf Zierkissen und Seidentücher gedruckt.

The Ornamental Abstractions design line works on a limited edition principle allowing no more than a maximum of 50 (silk scarves), 100 (cushions) and 500
(scarves made of materials other than silk) copies per design.
The designs are available as products ready-for-use or as licences for a limited number of prints.
In case you buy a design licence you will receive the design original size and printable quality as a pdf-file and can work with a company of your choice and at your
own expense in producing the item whose design you have bought. Use of the design licence purchased for production of any items other than the ones the design
purchased has been created for and/ or use for a larger quantity of items than the one the design licence purchased is valid for is prohibited and will be treated as
violation of copyright.
The design pdf-file will be sent after the contract for sale has been returned signed by the customer and the purchase price has been transferred to the
ORNAMENTAL ABSTRACTIONS account.
In case you buy the design as an item ready-for-use the item will be delivered after the purchase price (including the costs for forwarding) has been transferred.
Production of items ready-for-use is done on demand and will take between 6 – 8 weeks with silk scarves and 2-3 weeks with cushions after payment has been made.

Ornamental Abstractions Design arbeitet mit limitierter Auflage. Pro Ornamental Abstractions Design werden nicht mehr als 50 (Seidentücher), 100 (Zierkissen)
und 500 (Tücher aus anderen Materialien als Seide) Exemplare gefertigt.
Ornamental Abstractions Designs sind als endgefertigte Artikel oder als Lizenzen für Druck und Produktion des Artikels in limitierter Stückzahl erhältlich.
Im Falle des Lizenz-Erwerbs für ein Design, erhält der Kunde das Design als druckfähige pdf-Datei in Originalgröße. Druck und Produktion erfolgen durch den
Kunden auf dessen Kosten und in Zusammenarbeit mit einer Firma seiner Wahl. Druck und Produktion eines anderen Artikels als desjenigen, für den das erworbene
Design ursprünglich entworfen wurde, sowie Druck und Produktion einer höheren Stückzahl als der in der erworbenen Lizenz festgelegten ist untersagt und wird
urheberrechtlich verfolgt.
Die pdf-Datei des erworbenen Designs wird dem Kunden nach Rücksendung der unterzeichneten Kaufvereinbarung und nach Eingang des Kaufpreises auf dem
Ornamental Abstractions Konto zugesandt.
Im Falle des Erwerbs des endgefertigten Artikels erfolgt die Lieferung nach Eingang des Kaufpreises (inklusive der Versandkosten) auf dem Ornamental
Abstractions Konto.
Die Produktion von Ornamental Abstractions Artikeln erfolgt on demand. Die Lieferung kann daher 6 – 8 Wochen nach Zahlungseingang in Anspruch nehmen.
