If you do not have the required language skills, it is possible to take an intensive language

The Aptitude Test is part of the Application process. You should check your application
status in your application account to see whether your application is being processed! If
there is grey question mark instead of green mark shown in your account, it indicates
something is wrong!
As soon as your electronic application in TUM-online is complete we proof your documents.
In the first step the important facts for us are: your degree, professional qualifications and
application letter at maximum 2 pages (DIN-A4). Give an explication why you have chosen
the course of Energy Efficient and Sustainable Building at the Technische Universität
München and describe your talents and interests that especially qualify you to participate in
this Master’s programme at the Technische Universität München.
The second part is a 30 minutes interview with you. You will be informed on time about

Mr Kathola supports you, if you have to delay tests, need a longer testing period or an
additional room for examination for medical reasons. He is well versed with support given
by TU München to help chronically ill and handicapped students to organize their studies
and complete their graduations. He will inform you about different possibilities and tell you
where to get and where to submit your medical certificate. We request you to contact Mr
Kathola as soon as possible for planning further steps.
Psychosocial and psychotherapeutic consultation at Studentenwerk München
Contact point for all students with psychological and psychosocial problems is the
information centre of the Studentenwerk. The „Psychotherapeutische und Psychosoziale
Beratungsstelle“ offers free advice and courses to a variety of topics ( courses about stress
reduction, work techniques…). Advice may be engaged both with problems at the field of
study and private conflict situations:








Difficulties with your studies (e.g. decision making, interruption of work, exam
nerves, competences…)
Relationship conflicts, acceptance of separation
Isolation and difficulties relating to people (e.g. social phobia)
Dissolution problems (dissolution from parents, reorientation)
Depressions, anxiety states, suicidal ideations, psychosomatic discomfort, eating
disorder, anankasms…
Experiences with sexual harassment
Addiction to drugs, psychotropic substances, to the Internet…
Integration problems of foreign students
