into the traditional handicrafts of Africa, Asia,
India and Egpyt. The products presented in our gallery are therefore carefully selected in order to present the typical crafts of their

In Ägypten wird eine große Auswahl an handgearbeiteten Stücken von
Meistern ihres Handwerks hergestellt. Basalt, Speckstein und Alabaster
werden oft als Rohmaterialien benutzt.
Ägypten ist auch bekannt für seine Perlmutt-Intarsienarbeiten. Die Einlegearbeiten
reichen von Schmuckkästchen und Spiegeln über Schachbretter bis hin zu Möbeln.
Auch mundgeblasenes Glas hat in Ägypten eine lange Tradition, die weit bis in die
ägyptische Geschichte zurückverfolgt werden kann.
