TimberTech Gains Canadian Construction Materials Centre Listings
Four product lines meet national performance standards
Wilmington, OH – March 17, 2008 – TimberTech has been granted Canadian Construction
Materials Centre (CCMC) listings for its Floorizon and ValuPlank plank product lines as well as
square edge versions of the TwinFinish and Earthwood plank product lines.
The CCMC listing indicates that TimberTech has demonstrated the capability to manufacture
products that meet specified criteria of performance. Quality assurance is addressed
through either ISO 9000 registration or a review of quality control documentation.
The CCMC provides a national evaluation service for innovative construction materials,
products, systems and services. Operating within the National Research Council Institute for
Research in Construction (NRC-IRC), CCMC evaluations are supported by the latest
technical research and expertise, and are based on the requirements of the National
Building Code of Canada:
- Health and Safety
- Functionality
- Accessibility
- Egress
The Canadian Home Builders’ Association supports the use of CCMC evaluations as a basis
for determining the acceptability of products.
