As programs in continuing education, all of them require at least one year of professional experience, which is an important aspect for the design of our teaching and learning concept. MBA in Global Management This program prepares young leaders for management positions in a global business environment. Based on the students‘ academic background in business and their work experience students learn to understand the global world economy and its driving forces, and are empowered to develop and implement strategies in global business. Due to our long-term experience in the field of continuing education we are well aware of the challenges of studying part-time - especially when participants have to reconcile job, family responsibilities and further education all at once. This is why our part-time offers provide a high level of flexibiility which helps participants to cope with changing conditions of their individual situations. During periods of higher workload and stress levels, or when a job assignment abroad comes unexpectedly, our students can choose to reduce the number of modules or take a semester of leave. Our Open MBA/Master option is an excellent alternative if the professional or personal setting does not allow for studying a program in full. The Open MBA/Master option provides the opportunity to gain management know-how in selective fields. Participants can choose individual modules from our part-time curricula according to their interests and schedule. For every successfully completed module, the participants obtain a certificate issued by Hochschule Bremen and ECTS points which can be transferred towards an IGC degree program later, if applicable. Thus, they have the chance to take step by step towards an MBA degree. Beruflich stark ausgelastet? With this program, young professionals with a first business-related degree can gain in-depth business knowledge. The program focuses on the life cycle of a company addressing the phases „Set-up and Development“, „External Growth“, and „Company Degeneration“. This concept provides students with a holistic view of management which empowers them to take on cross-functional Management position. Start 2017! Vorbehaltlich der Akkreditierung This program has been specially designed for professionals in the cultural sector. IGC’s campus building is located in the heart of the city. Consequently, the surrounding geographical area of our campus provides a stimulating envi-ronment for our students offering a wide range of cultural and social events, museums, concerts halls, and theaters. The river Weser is just a stone‘s throw away, providing recreation and leisure activities in a wonderful natural habitat. 24 | 25 Tel. +49 421 5905- Durchwahl/Extension | Fax +49 421 5905- Durchwahl/Extension INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE CENTER (IGC) Board of Directors Prof. Dr. Tim Goydke Wissenschaftlicher Direktor | Dean -4800; [email protected] Das Team des IGC The IGC Team Björn Anders Prof. Dr. Tim Goydke Regine Hink Radhika Rai-Holzapfel Anette Bartels Uwe Grahl Maja Hoffmann Katharina Riebe Dr. Monika Blaschke Béatrice Guillet Mihaela Jucan Lieselotte Scheewe Katrin Engler Prof. Dr. Felix Herle Prof. Dr. Ulrich Kuron Prof. Dr. Peter Schmidt Christian Frank Kristine Hermann Andrea Martin Merle Schreiber Nicht abgebildet / Angela Dunkhorst, Anette Bartels Prorgam Coordinator -5520; [email protected] M.A. IN EUROPEAN STUDIES Central Services & Staff Units Prof. Dr. Christian Schuchardt Stellv.
