Mell Lounge gelingt das Kunststück,
einladend bequem und gleichzeitig filigran
zu wirken. Dafür sorgen tiefe Sitzflächen
und kuschelige Kissen auf feinen Stahlkufen.
Sie lassen nicht nur das Sofa, sondern auch
die passenden Sessel, Hocker und Tische
scheinbar schweben und verleihen der
Sitzlandschaft ihre besondere Leichtigkeit.
Mell Lounge mit losen Kissen sorgt nicht
nur allein, sondern auch in der Gruppe für
Eindruck im Wohnzimmer. Die einzelnen
Elemente lassen sich mühelos zusammen­
fügen. Der Hocker kann eingebaut oder
frei stehend genutzt werden, man hat die
Wahl zwischen Armlehnen oder offenen
Abschlusselementen und alles kann immer
wieder neu miteinander in Beziehung
gebracht werden.

be invitingly comfortable and delicately
elegant at the same time. this is thanks to
the deep seating surfaces and cosy cushions
resting on slender steel skids. As a result,
not only the sofa but also the matching
easy chairs, stools and tables seem to float,
lending the seating landscape a special
lightness.
Mell lounge with loose cushions
makes an impression in the living room —
both on its own and in a group. the
individual elements can be combined
effortlessly. the stool is suitable for integrated or freestanding use. there is a

Mell ist die straffere Version von Mell
Lounge. Für die, die es gerade mögen.
Die Rückenkissen fehlen hier. Die Sitztiefe
ist geringer und eine aufrechtere Sitz­
haltung damit gewährleistet. Was gleich
bleibt, ist die spannungsvolle Wirkung
zwischen der gradlinigen Außenseite und
den haptischen Rundungen der Lehnen –
und natürlich der sehr hohe Sitzkomfort.
Wie Mell Lounge steht auch Mell auf
schmalen Kufen, die nach Wunsch ver­
chromt oder farbig lackiert sind. Spielend
leicht lassen sich Sitzelemente, Bänke,
Hocker und Tische immer wieder neu mit­
einander verbinden und laden so in jedem
Raum harmonisch zum Verweilen ein.

Willkommen zu Hause! Ein neuer, zierlicher

Bahir ist das Sofa für die entspannten
Momente im Leben. Ein Ort, in den man
sich einschmiegen und ausstrecken kann,
eine Freiheitszone zum Querliegen und
Lesen, zum Spielen und Im­Netz­Surfen. Um
das zu ermöglichen, ist Bahir als große,
einladende Schale angelegt. Die klassische
Zweiteilung von Sitz und Lehne ist dafür
aufgehoben. Und so möchte man Bahir
weniger als Sitzmöbel bezeichnen denn als
privaten Raum, in dem man sich mit
Kissen, Decken, Lebenspartner, Keksen
und Kindern einrichten kann, wie man will.
Gut zu wissen, dass der gesteppte Bezug
einfach abnehmbar und zu reinigen ist.
Seine Nähte unterstreichen die klare
Grundstruktur des Möbels. Ein Hocker
dient als Ergänzung.

Sinus ist ein moderner Klassiker von 1976,
der damals schon seiner Zeit voraus war.
Mit schwingenden Federstahlkufen, deren
Form ihm den Namen gab, und einer un­
gewöhnlichen Polsterung. Ledergurte halten
beim Sitz und im Rücken die runden
Polsterelemente. Anlässlich des 50­jährigen
Bestehens von COR wurde er 2004 erneut
in die Kollektion aufgenommen. Denn Sinus
verkörpert lässig das zeitlose und doch
innovative Design von COR und macht klar:
Für ungewöhnliche Bequemlichkeit braucht
es keine schweren Fauteuils. Sinus tritt
schwerelos auf, schwingt leicht, und wer
sich einmal auf den markanten Polstern

schon da gewesen, so selbstverständlich
wirkt der drehbare Sessel – und das in fast
jedem Ambiente. Seine Armlehnen laden
ein, sich zu setzen, und wer das getan hat,
bleibt gern und lange. Im Sessel Cordia
sitzt man bequem und aufrecht, so dass
er nicht nur für Mußestunden taugt, son­
dern auch für Gespräche, bei denen man
sich seinem Gegenüber zuwenden will. Für
noch mehr Komfort gibt es ihn auch mit
hohem Rücken und optional mit einem

Zuerst sieht man ihn und bewundert die
scharf geschnittene Silhouette. Ihre Eleganz
resultiert aus flachen Polstern und einer
Formholzschale, die dank seitlicher Ein­
schnitte besonders fein wirkt. Auf diese
Weise fügt sich Shrimp auch in Räume ein,
die nicht gerade Hotelhallen sind. Zugleich
können wahlweise Holz, Leder oder Stoff
für die Schale sehr unterschiedliche Akzente
setzen. So weit zur Optik. Dann setzt man
sich und erlebt den Sinn eines guten
Cocktailsessels: Man sinkt nicht ein, ist
gut gestützt und dennoch geborgen. Hier
ist Entspannung angesagt, unterstrichen
durch die Drehbarkeit des Sessels und den
dazugehörigen Hocker: Füße ablegen

Wie aus einem Guss wirkt Rob, der außer­
gewöhnliche Ruhe sessel mit einem Ver­
sprechen von Geborgenheit und Komfort.
Dafür sorgt die elektronische Verstellung
mittels einer Fernbedienung, die auf Wunsch
auch kabellos sein kann. Die Rückenlehne
neigt sich nach hinten und die Fußstütze
ent faltet sich. Wer in der Liegeposition den
Kopf noch etwas anheben möchte, knickt
den oberen Teil der Rückenlehne mit einem
Handgriff nach vorne – für optimale Sicht
beim Fernsehen.

perfekt als i­Tüpfelchen in anspruchsvoll
eingerichteten Räumen. Ein passendes
Tablett, lackiert oder in Holzfurnier, zaubert
aus dem Ovo Hocker im Handumdrehen
einen Beistelltisch. Hocker und Sessel
kommen entweder auf Rollen oder auf Glei­
tern daher. Noch mehr Flexibilität erhält der
Gestalter durch die Rückenlehnen, die in
zwei verschiedenen Breiten erhältlich sind.

Mit seinen runden Formen ist der Circo
Sessel unverwechselbar. Seine Fähigkeit,
sich an fast jeden Einrichtungsstil anzu­
passen, ist sein besonderes Talent. Beim
Design lässt er seinem Besitzer viele
Freiheiten. Es gibt den Sessel mit gepols­
terter oder geflochtener Rückenlehne,
Letztere in schwarz oder weiß oder in einer
Kombination beider Farben. Für den
Sitzbezug steht eine große Anzahl Leder,
Stoffe und Farben zur Verfügung. Getragen
wird Circo von fünf Beinen aus Metall,
entweder in elegantem Chrom oder lackiert.

1983 noch ungläubig bestaunt, 1984 zum
Möbel des Jahres gewählt – 2004 längst
ein moderner Klassiker. Zyklus – ein Name,
der für einen Sessel steht, der trotz des
jungen Alters schon Geschichte schrieb.
Entstanden ist Zyklus eigentlich fast
zufällig: Ein Puppenmöbel der Tochter des
Designers Peter Maly stand Pate. Dem
kleinen Puppensessel widerfuhr eine
wunderbare Verwandlung. Er wurde ver­
ändert und bearbeitet, gestaltet und
modernisiert. Was dabei herauskam, ist
schlicht und schön und wurde zum Erfolg.
Zyklus – zu Deutsch: Kreis. Denn Zyklus
basiert auf der so einfachen wie überzeu­
genden Form des Kreises. Der Kreis ist
verstellbare Nackenrolle und Rad, halbiert
ist er Sitzfläche und Rückenlehne und
geviertelt Armlehne. Er gibt dem Sessel
aber auch den Schwung, der ihn zeitlos­
modern macht.

in fact, Zyklus came about almost by chance:
the inspiration came from a doll’s chair
belonging to designer peter Maly’s daughter. the little chair underwent a wondrous
metamorphosis: it was changed, adapted,
redesigned and modernised, and the simple,
stunning end result was an instant hit. its
name, Zyklus, means circle — the clear,
compelling shape on which it is based. the
full circle appears in the adjustable neckrest
and the wheels at the back; halved, it
appears in the sitting surface and the backrest, while a quarter-section makes up the
armrests. And that’s what gives Zyklus the
verve that turns a modern classic into a
thing of timeless beauty.
