What I like to do in my free time
1 Video: What I like to do in my free time
A girl called Jennifer Sims made a video in which she shows all kinds of
activities she likes to do in her free time. You don’t hear her talking, but
you can see her doing things. Subtitles help you to understand what she
actually means.

1. Take photos of yourself doing your favourite things or photos of items that symbolise your favourite
hobbies (e.g. a guitar, a football or a book).
2. Transfer your photos from the digital camera to the computer.
3. Go to http://slide.ly/ and register a user account or log on. You can open an account anonymously if
you use a throw-away e-mail address instead of your real one: e.g. http://mailinator.com/.
4. Click on “Create Slidely”.
5. Add photos to the editor. Either upload them from your computer or connect Slidely to any of the
following online communities: Flickr, Picasa, Facebook or Instagram.
6. After you have chosen the photos you want to use click on “sort photos” at the bottom of the page.
You can now arrange the photos the way you want.
7. You can also add descriptions by clicking on the speech bubble. Add a description for each photo,
just as Jennifer has done.
8. Click on “next” in the top right corner of the site and pick your favourite song to be played in the
background of your slideshow.
9. You can now view the preview of your slideshow and change some options before saving it to your
account. From there you can share it by e-mail, on Facebook or in your learning management system.
