Thursday: Choir begins rehearsing again at 7:30 PM. All are welcome to join in singing with
the Choir and leading our congregation in worship!
Next Sunday: The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at both worship gatherings.
Pomeroy Avenue Stop Sign: Many of us are not coming to a complete stop at the stop sign on
Pomeroy Ave. when leaving the church property. Please observe this safety feature at all times.

September 11, 2006: A service of tribute will be held for our community service workers at 7:00
PM at the Avon Grove High School auditorium.
Ice Cream Social and Information Time: Sunday, September 17, 2006. Lou Ruppersberger will
be sharing information about living wills and power of attorney.
Chatham Acres: APC is scheduled to help with worship again on Sunday, September 17. The
team will leave APC at 9:45 AM. Contact Bev Lysle if you are interested in participating.
Attention All Singers In Kindergarten Through Fifth Grade! The Singing for Joy Children's
Choir needs YOU! We practice weekly on Monday afternoons from 4:30-5:15 p.m. starting
September 11 and sing the second Sunday of each month during both worship services
throughout the school year. If you are interested or would like more information, contact Tiffany
Bidwell or e-mail her at [email protected]. NOTE: Choir members do not need to be able to
read text or music to join.
