Kurzbiographie
Dr. Kresic studierte von 1976 bis 1982 an der zahnmedizinischen Universität in Zagreb Zahnheilkunde.
Nach dem Examen folgte 1982 die Promotion. Von 1985 bis 1989 war er an der Universitätsklinik Witten/
Herdecke tätig, ab 1987 dann als Weiterbildungsassistent im Fachgebiet Parodontologie. 1989 erfolgte das
Weiterbildungsjahr in der Praxis von Dr. Wolfgang Westermann, Emsdetten.
Seit 1990 ist Dr. Kresic in Hünstetten-Wallrabenstein niedergelassen. Im Jahr 1991 erhielt er die Anerkennung als Fachzahnarzt für Parodontologie. 1996 folgten die Prüfung und Ernennung zum „Spezialisten
der DGP“. Im Jahr 1998 erhielt Dr. Kresic den Peter-Guldner-Praktikerpreis.
Er ist Mitglied der „Neuen Gruppe“ und war von 2002 bis 2008 Vorstandsmitglied der deutschen Gesellschaft für Parodontologie (DGParo).

Kurzbiographie
Wolfgang Kohlbach, Jahrgang 1953, erwarb in Frankfurt/Main den Gesellenbrief als Zahntechniker. Nach
Erhalt seines Meisterbriefes im Jahre 1994 führte er das Praxislabor von Dr. Jürgen Schmidt, in Kronberg im
Taunus. Im Jahr 2000 expandierte Wolfgang Kohlbach und eröffnete in neuen Räumen das Dentallabor für
Ästhetik und impantologische Prothetik in Kronberg im Taunus.
Neben Referenten- und Schulungstätigkeiten ist Wolfgang Kohlbach Autor des Dental-Explorer 1.0, 2.0 und
2.1 sowie des „Dental Explorers 3D“ (Multimediales Patienteninformationssystem), welche er in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Quintessenz Verlag entwickelt hat. Des Weiteren ist er Autor der Bücher „Anatomie der
Zähne und des kraniofazialen Systems“ und „Deskriptive Anatomie der Zähne und des kraniofazialen
Systems“ (Quintessenz Verlag, Berlin).
Wolfgang Kohlbach ist Mitentwickler einer neuen Zahnlinie sowie Mitgestalter und Ausführender bei Lehrfilmen für Ausbildungszwecke. Darüber hinaus ist er Mitglied im Wissenschaftlichen Beirat des Kuratoriums
perfekter Zahnersatz und in der Jury für den Dissertationspreis des Kuratoriums.

Kurzbiographie
ZTM Udo Plaster absolvierte seine Ausbildung zum Zahntechniker von 1987 bis 1990. Seine
Meisterprüfung schloss er 1997 in Düsseldorf als Externer ab.
Er betreibt in Nürnberg ein Labor mit fünf Mitarbeitern, wobei sich sein Tätigkeitschwerpunkt auf
ästhetisch-funktionellen Zahnersatz bezieht, der nach ganzheitlichen Kriterien angefertigt wird.
Udo Plaster ist Gründungsmitglied der „dental excellence“ – International Laboratory Group (heute
dental excellence laboratory network e. V.) sowie Mitglied und Referent der DGÄZ, ICCMO und EADT.
Er hat im In- und Ausland zahlreiche Kurse und Vorträge zu den Themen Gnathologie und
Keramikrestaurationen gegeben. Einer dieser Vorträge (auf der ADT 2007) wurde zum besten Vortrag
des Jahres gewählt.

Short biography
Tomislav Kresic studied dentistry at the University of Zagreb from 1976 to 1982. After graduating in 1982,
he went on to obtain his doctoral degree. From 1985 to 1989, he worked at the Dental Clinic of Witten/
Herdecke University, from 1987 on as a training assistant in the Department of Periodontology. In 1989, he
completed his continuing-education year at the private practice of Dr. Wolfgang Westermann, Emsdetten.
Kresic has been working in private practice in Hünstetten since 1990. In 1991, he was recognized as an
Authorized Specialist in Periodontology. In 1996, he was appointment Specialists of the DGP (then the
abbreviation for the German Society of Periodontology).
In 1998, Kresic received the Peter Guldener award for practitioners. He is a member of the “New Group”
and was a member of the board of the German Society of Periodontology (DGParo) from 2002 to 2008.

Short biography
Wolfgang Kohlbach received his dental technician training in Frankfurt. After graduating from Master
School as a Master Dental Technician in 1994, he led the in-office dental laboratory of Dr. Jürgen Schmidt,
Kronberg. In 2000, he expanded his activities by opening the Dental Laboratory for Aesthetics and ImplantSupported prosthetics in Kronberg.
Kohlbach is a popular speaker and trainer as well as the author of Dental Explorer 1.0, 2.0 and 2.1 and
Dental Explorer 3D, developed jointly with Quintessence Publishing. He is the author of two anatomical
textbooks (“Anatomie der Zähne und des kraniofazialen Systems” and “Deskriptive Anatomie der Zähne
und des kraniofazialen Systems”, Quintessence, Berlin).
Kohlbach is the co-developer of a new line of denture teeth and co-developer and acting surgeon in educational training videos. In addition, he is a member of the Scientific Advisory Council of the Foundation for
Perfect Dental Restorations (“Kuratorium perfekter Zahnersatz”) and a member of the jury for the
Foundation´s dissertation award.

Short biography
Udo Plaster was trained as a dental technician from 1987 to 1990. He passed his Master Dental Technician exam in Düsseldorf in 1997.
He currently runs a laboratory with five employees in Nürnberg, placing an emphasis on esthetic and
functional restorations made to holistic criteria.
Plaster is a founding member of what now bears the name of “dental excellence laboratory network”
and a member and officer at DGÄZ, ICCMO and EADT.
He has been held numerous seminars and lectures on gnathology and ceramic restorations both in
Germany and abroad. One of his presentations (at the ADT 2007) was voted the Presentation of the Year.
