Da wir bei diesem Entwerfen etwas mehr Platz benötigen,
erfolgt nach der Einführung eine Einteilung in zwei Gruppen.
Due to the limited space in our seminar room we will divide
the participants into two groups after the introduction.

für den weiteren Entwurf bilden.
Modellbaumaterial mitbringen!
Compulsory!
Abstract paintings will serve as templates for simple working
models which will be built within three hours at this exercise.
These models will be the inspirational source for the actual
design process.
Please bring the necessary model building materials!

Nach den Erfahrungen bei der betreuten Improvisation, soll
ein zweites Modell als Hausaufgabe angefertigt ebenfalls
nach den Vorlagen der abstrakten Malerei angefertigt
werden.

After having experienced the supervised improvisation a
second model has to be built as homework.
Abstract painting will again serve as the source of
inspiration.

Korrekturmöglichkeiten
Consultations
An diesen Terminen steht euch das Betreuerteam zur
Verfügung. Zumindest zwei Zwischenkorrekturen sind für
den positiven Abschluss notwendig!
Für die Korrekturen sind Pläne/Handskizzen und ein
Arbeitsmodell mitzubringen.
These dates are reserved for consultations with our team of
advisors. In order to complete this design studio it is
necessary to attend at least two of these appointments.
Please bring your plans/sketches and the working model
to the consultations.

Group 1: Final Presentation
Anwesenheitspflicht!
Ablauf: Jedes Projekt wird mittels Modell und kurzer
Beamerpräsentation vorgestellt. Es stehen euch 10 min
für diese Präsentation zur Verfügung.
Abzugeben ist weiters eine digitale Abgabemappe Format A4, PDF mit kurzer Textbeschreibung, Plänen
und Modellfotos. Außerdem sollen alle Projekte auf
iRecord hochgeladen werden.

digital presentation (PC and projector are provided) and
model. The timeslots are 10 minutes for each participant.
Additionally we require digital presentation folder – format
A4, PDF with a short text description, plans and model
images and the upload to iRecord which is the faculty’s
project database.

Teilnahmevoraussetzungen & Beurteilung
Anmeldung:
Ausschließlich über den Bewerbungspool am Dekanat. Wir nehmen keine sonstigen Anmeldungen per
Email, Telefon oder persönlich an, da wir die Zulassungsvoraussetzungen für das Master-Entwerfen nicht
überprüfen können.
Anwesenheitspflicht:
Die persönliche Anwesenheit zur Einführungsveranstaltung, sowie zu anwesenheitspflichtigen Terminen ist
Voraussetzung für eine positive Beurteilung. Des Weiteren ist eine Anwesenheit bei 50% der übrigen
Korrekturen notwendig, um positiv abzuschließen. TeilnehmerInnen, die diese Anwesenheitspflicht nicht
einhalten, werden ohne Ausnahmen automatisch negativ beurteilt.
Hierbei ist der Grund der Abwesenheit (Krankheit, berufliche Verhinderung etc.) nicht relevant.
Beurteilungskriterien:
Entwurfsqualität, Modellbauqualität, Präsentationstechnik
Requirements for attending the course & evaluation
Registration:
Registration to this course only via the faculty’s Pool Application system. We do not accept any other
applications via email, phone or personally. The reason for this strict procedure is that we are unable to
check each candidate’s eligibility to participate.
Compulsory attendance:
Personal attendance to appointments marked with „compulsory“ is required for a positive evaluation.
Additionally personal attendance at 50% of the regular consultations is required for a positive mark.
Participants who do not fulfill the required attendance will automatically receive a negative evaluation
without any exceptions. The reason for absence (illness etc.) is not relevant.

Quality of design, quality of the models, quality of presentation
