Exkursion ins Mittelalter - Excursion to the Middle Ages
Am Mittwoch, dem 26.10.05,
unternahm die Klasse 7b im Rahmen
des Comenius – Projekts
eine Exkursion nach Kloster Zinna,
um sich dort mit mittelalterlichen
Lebensbedingungen und traditioneller
Kleidung vertraut zu machen.
On Wednesday, 26th Oct, 2005, form
7b went on an excursion to Kloster
Zinna within the Comenius project to
get to know more about medieval
living conditions and traditional
clothes.
Am Kloster angekommen, besichtigten wir zuerst die alte Kirche, die heute auch als
Kulturstätte des Ortes genutzt wird. Eine Mitarbeiterin erklärte uns viele interessante Details.
After we had arrived at the monastery we visited the old church first. A guide explained us
lots of interesting details.
Anschließend führte uns der Leiter des
Museums durch das alte Kloster, wohin
alljährlich Tausende Touristen kommen. Das
Leben eines Mönches war ganz schön hart.
Neben einem zwölfstündigen Arbeitstag unter
schwierigsten Bedingungen (Moorlandschaft,
unbeheizte Räume, wenig Schlaf) wurde viel
gebetet und es gab nur wenig zu essen. Die
allgemeine Lebenserwartung lag bei 30 bis 40
Jahren.
Hier sehen wir einen Mönch in traditioneller
Kleidung.
Afterwards the manager of the museum guided
us through the old monastery which thousands
of tourists visit each year. The life of a monk
was very hard. Beside a working day of twelve
hours with very difficult conditions (swamp
landscape, unheated rooms, little sleep) they
prayed a lot and had only a little food. The
general life expectancy was between 30 and 40
years. Here you see a traditional monk costume.
Nach einer Probezeit von einem Jahr konnten
sich die Laienbrüder („Conversi“) für ein Leben
im Kloster entscheiden. Diese Entscheidung galt
allerdings das ganze Leben lang und ihr
gesamter Besitz gehörte dann dem Kloster.
After one year of probation the applicators
(“Conversi”) could decide for a life inside the
monastery. This decision was finally for the
whole life and then all their property belonged to
monastery.
Danach besuchten wir noch das Webermuseum, wo uns die Techniken des Spinnens und
Webens erklärt und vorgeführt wurden. Auch heute noch werden Stoffe nach den alten
Fertigungsverfahren für Ausstellungen, Museen und Traditionsvereine gefertigt. In den Fotos
unten können wir einige traditionelle Trachten der ländlichen Bevölkerung sehen.
Then we visited the Weaver museum, where we were explained and demonstrated the
techniques of spinning and weaving. Today materials are still produced by the old
manufacturing processes for exhibitions, museums, and traditional associations. In the
photographs below we can see some traditional costumes of village people.
Die Leute in den Dörfern um Luckenwalde tragen diese Kleidung noch heute zu besonderen
Anlässen, wie Festivals und Hochzeiten.
People in the villages around Luckenwalde wear these costumes still today for special
occasions like festivals, weddings etc.
