Gründung des Unternehmens als
KUHN-Baumaschinen durch Herrn
Günter Kuhn in Eugendorf bei Salzburg.
Damit wird der Grundstein einer erfolgreichen Unternehmensentwicklung gelegt.
Übernahme der Generalvertretungen
Palfinger Krane und Mitsubishi Gabelstapler sowie Gründung der KUHNLadetechnik.
Mit KUHN KFT in Budapest wird die
erste Auslandsniederlassung gegründet.
KUHN wird mit Mitsubishi Marktführer
bei Staplern mit Verbrennungsmotoren.
2003 erfolgt die Übersiedlung in eine
neue Zentrale der KUHN KFT.
Gründung von KUHN-Bohemia a.s. in
Prag als Service- & Vertriebsfirma von Baumaschinen in Tschechien.
Übernahme der Generalvertretung für
KOMATSU Baumaschinen. Damit wird
der Grundstein für die Expansion von
KUHN zu einem der größten Komatsuhändler Europas gelegt.

for the further successful development
of the company.
The company took over the exclusive
distribution for Palfinger Cranes and
Mitsubishi Forklifts, as well as founding
the KUHN Ladetechnik.
The very first foreign subsidiary is established in Budapest, KUHN KFT. With
Mitsubishi, Kuhn becomes market leader
in the field of forklifts for combustion
engines. In 2003 the company moves to
the new headquarters of KUHN KFT.
Foundation of KUHN Bohemia a.s. in
Prague as a service and distribution
company for construction machines in
the Czech Republic.
The company took over the exclusive
distribution for Komatsu Construction
Equipment. This laid the foundation for
KUHN’s expansion and becoming one of
the largest Komatsu dealers in Europe.

Hrvatska in Kroatien/Zagreb als
Verkaufs- und Serviceorganisation
für KOMATSU Baumaschinen und
Mitsubishi Gabelstapler.
Übernahme des Schweizer
KOMATSU-Importeurs Küpfer
und Umwandlung in die KUHN
Schweiz AG mit Niederlassungen
in Heimberg/Bern und Lommis/
Zürich.
Ein wichtiger Schritt in die
Zukunft: Die beiden Söhne des
Firmengründers Günter Kuhn,
Mag. Andreas Kuhn und Mag.
Stefan Kuhn treten in das operative
Geschäft des Familienunternehmens ein. Start der Expansion von
KUHN Baumaschinen mit der
Tochtergesellschaft KUHN Baumaschinen Deutschland GmbH.
Das neue Servicewerk KUHN
Vöcklabruck wird zur Europa-Zentrale von Kuhn Ladetechnik und
zum Kompetenzzentrum für
Schwerlastkrane ausgebaut. Hier
ist auch das IT-Zentrum sowie die
zentrale Aus- und Weiterbildung
für KUHN-Mitarbeiter etabliert.
Weitere Expansion von KUHN
Baumaschinen Deutschland
durch Ausweitung des Verkaufsgebietes von Bayern auf große Teile
von Baden-Württemberg. Gründung
von KUHN-Polska Sp.z.o.o.: KUHN
übernimmt Vertriebsrechte für Mitsubishi Gabelstapler für die Märkte
Tschechien und Polen.

Slovakia.
KUHN MT s.r.o. was founded in
the Czech Republic as the general importer of Palfinger Cranes.
The construction equipment and
loading technology were separated into two independent companies.
In1995 KUHN d.o.o. in Ljubljana/
Slovenia was founded as a trading
house for Komatsu Construction
Equipment and Mitsubishi Forklifts.
KUHN Hrvatska in Croatia/
Zagreb was founded in 1996 as a
sales and service organisation for
KOMATSU Construction Equipment and Mitsubishi Forklifts.
The company took over Swiss
KOMATSU importer Küpfer, which
became KUHN Schweiz AG, with
branch offices in Heimberg/Bern
and Lommis/Zürich.
An important step for the future:
Andreas Kuhn (MA) and Stefan
Kuhn (MA), both sons of the
founder, Günter Kuhn, joined the
family business. The further expansion of KUHN Baumaschinen
(Construction Equipment) began
with a subsidiary in Germany,
KUHN Baumaschinen Deutschland GmbH.
KUHN Vöcklabruck became the
European headquarter for KUHN
Ladetechnik.
Through further expansion of this
plant evolved the Center of Competence for Material Handling
Systems.
KUHN Vöcklabruck is also the
home of the IT Centre and the
education centre for KUHN
employees.
A further expansion of KUHN Baumaschinen Deutschland is taking
place by expanding the sales area
from Bavaria to cover the majority
of Baden-Württemberg. Foundation
of KUHN-Polska Sp.z.o.o.: KUHN
got the exclusive selling rights for
the markets Czech Republic,
Poland.

Das neue KUHN Ladetechnik Kompetenzzentrum in
Vöcklabruck/Oberösterreich ist europaweit für
Schwerlastkranaufbauten zuständig. Hier wird höchster, technischer Standard von der Bedarfsberatung,
Planung über Projektierung bis hin zum perfekten
Kranaufbau realisiert.
Hier ist auch die Zentrale der KUHN Ladetechnik
Ersatzteilversorgung und die KUHN-engineering &
support academy – das Schulungszentrum für alle
Mitarbeiter der Unternehmensgruppe KUHN.
The new KUHN Center of competence for material
handling systems in Vöcklabruck, Austria, is the
number one location for block crane superstructures
for building piers throughout of Europe.
The highest technical standards are utilized here
in consulting customers over their needs, project
planning, including even the perfect superstructure
for cranes.
Vöcklabruck is also the main headquarter of KUHN
Ladetechnik spare parts supplies and the KUHN
Engineering and Support Academy – the training
center for all KUHN Group employees.
