Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München Geschwister-Scholl-Institut für Politikwissenschaft Literaturliste Modul: Einführung in die Internationalen Beziehungen Stand: März 2010 Inhalt Der Grundkurs Internationale Beziehungen führt zusammen mit der Vorlesung „Internationale Beziehungen 1“ in die politikwissenschaftliche Teildisziplin der Internationalen Beziehungen ein und vermittelt Grundlagen der theoriegeleiteten Analyse der Weltpolitik. Im ersten Teil werden die zentralen Theorien der Internationalen Beziehungen diskutiert und anhand konkreter Beispiele illustriert. Ziel insbesondere des Grundkurses ist es, die in der Vorlesung erworbenen Grundkenntnisse der Theorien zu vertiefen und das verständnisorientierte Lesen auch anspruchsvoller Texte zu erlernen. Im zweiten Teil werden einzelne Politikfelder der internationalen Beziehungen (z.B. Sicherheit, Handel und Finanzen, Umwelt, Menschenrechte) in den Blick genommen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt darauf, die in Teil I besprochenen Theorien auf konkrete Untersuchungsgegenstände anzuwenden. Im Grundkurs werden daher Texte diskutiert, in denen Theorien anhand empirischer Beispielfälle auf ihre Erklärungskraft geprüft werden.
