About us Products Training & Know How Colours Partner Programs Contacts Spies Hecker premieres at Automechanika. Innovative paint technology and modern colour management from Spies Hecker at the industry’s leading international trade fair in Frankfurt, Germany, between 16 and 20 September 2014: the refinish brand presents a wide range of progressive products and services. The topics colour and water are the focal points of the brand’s trade fair presentation on its joint stand with the German bodywork and vehicle technology association - Zentralverband für Karosserie- und Fahrzeugtechnik, ZKF. “Automechanika is an excellent opportunity for us to present our key competencies - waterborne paints and customised solutions for colour matching - to the industry at large,” says Joachim Hinz, Spies Hecker Brand Manager International. “This trade fair is the right forum for discussing current and future topics that are of interest to the industry with customers, bodyshops and associations.” Joachim Hinz, Spies Hecker Brand Manager International, will be at the Automechanika Frankfurt. First outing for Phoenix, Spies Hecker’s online colour software Automechanika also marks the first introduction of the new Spies Hecker online colour software, Phoenix, to the trade. Visitors to the stand will be able to see how the software can be linked to other digital colour management tools, such as the ColorDialog Delta-Scan spectrophotometer and the fully automated Daisy Wheel dosing system. To mark its 20 year anniversary of waterborne paints, Spies Hecker will also be holding a daily raffle in which two special edition SATA sprayguns can be won. Close cooperation with trade associations “Close cooperation with trade associations is very important to Spies Hecker,” says Hinz. “In Germany, we will continue to work with the ZKF in order to prepare our customers in Germany and abroad for new challenges.” Decision makers discuss claim networks How do claim networks work in Germany? Is repair quality at risk where insurance claims are concerned? How is the German national association of bodyshops (Bundesverband der Partnerwerkstätten (BVdP)) positioning itself with the QualiCar quality seal? And what significance will online platforms such as Schadenladen.de, Fairgarage.de or autobutler.de, where vehicle owners can compare repair costs for their vehicle, have for the future of paintshops and bodyshops? The Schadentalk industry discussion forum, co-hosted by Spies Hecker, will take place on 18 September from noon to 2pm in the Portalhaus, Ebene Halle 11.1. Participants include Reinhard Beyer (BVdP), Heinz Kroha (chief executive ADAC Service GmbH and SPN Schadenservicepartner Netzwerk), Thomas Geck (HUK COBURG insurance company), Peter Börner (president of the Zentralverband für Karosserie- und Fahrzeugtechnik) and Thomas Melzer (Axalta Coating Systems Germany) as well as Jens Nietzschmann (chief executive Deutsche Automobil Treuhand, DAT). Spies Hecker will be in Hall 11.1, Stand C43 at the Automechanika Frankfurt.
