Ein Stück Urlaub für Zuhause – das ist die KARE DESIGN Serie Ipanema.
Inspiration für das charmante Design der Kommoden, Tische und Stühle gaben die in Asien,
Afrika und Indonesien noch weit verbreiteten handgemalten Werbetafeln. Schon manches
Museum hat diesen kleinen Kunstwerken eine Schau gewidmet. Die KARE DESIGN Trendscouts
waren begeistert von den naiven und fantasievollen Werbe-Motiven, wie sie in Bars, kleinen
Kramerläden und am Wegesrand überall zu finden sind. Sie sammelten die schönsten und
originellsten Motive, um sie als Dekoration für eine sehr lässige Möbelserie zu verwenden. Als
Rohstoff für den Möbelbau dient Recycling Holz wie Mango, Akazie und Teak, das in asiatischen
Regionen zum Bau von Häusern und Hütten verwendet wird. Die alten Holzhäuser werden heute
zunehmend von gemauerten Gebäude ersetzt. Ipanema verkörpert durch die Verwendung von
Recycling-Holz den verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit natürlichen Ressourcen und beweist
die Wertschätzung traditioneller handwerklicher Fähigkeiten. Jedes Produkt ist von Hand
geschreinert, gewachst, lackiert und wurde liebevoll mit Lebenspuren versehen.
Pflege
Das Möbel kann feucht, aber nicht zu nass, abgewischt werden. Bitte verwenden Sie keine
scharfen Reinigungsmittel, um die lackierten Oberflächen zu schonen.
Material
Verschiedene Holzarten (Recycling Holz) wie Mango, Akazie oder Teak.
Einzigartige Handarbeit aus Naturmaterial
Es zeichnet natürliche Materialien aus, dass sie auch nach ihrer Verarbeitung weiter leben,
auf Hitze, Feuchtigkeit oder starkes Sonnenlicht reagieren können. Diese Lebensspuren sind
gewollt und Bestandteil eines authentischen Möbels.

A touch of the holiday spirit for your home – that‘s the KARE DESIGN Ipanema series.
Inspiration for the charming design of the chests of drawers, tables and chairs came from the
hand-painted advertising hoardings which are still widespread in Asia, Africa and Indonesia.
Many a museum has devoted an exhibition to these minor works of art. The KARE DESIGN trend
scouts were excited by the naive and imaginative advertising images which are to be seen
everywhere in bars, small village shops and by the wayside. They collected the most attractive
and original designs for the purpose of using them as decoration for a really laid-back range
of furniture. The raw materials for its manufacture consist of recycled mango wood, acacia and
teak, which were traditionally used in parts of Asia for the construction of houses and huts.
Today the old wooden houses are increasingly being replaced by brick buildings. Thanks to the
use of recycled wood Ipanema represents responsible use of natural resources and demonstrates
appreciation of the skills of traditional craftsmanship. Each individual product is constructed
by hand, then waxed and painted before it is lovingly provided with traces of use.
Care
The furniture can be wiped down with a damp (but not too wet) cloth. In order to protect the
painted surface no aggressive cleaning agents should be used.
