RESUMO
Para o desenvolvimento desta pesquisa em torno da teoria de análise do poema, fez-se
necessário no primeiro capítulo uma revisão dos conceitos sobre poema, poesia e da
análise literária. Buscou-se ainda, estudar nesse capítulo, identificar os elementos
constituintes do poema (verso/ritmo/rima etc.). No segundo, trabalhamos com a prática
analítica contextualizando inicialmente a vida e obra de Manuel Bandeira para
desenvolver a análise do poema “Alumbramento”. O presente trabalho buscou refletir
acerca da análise do poema tanto na teoria como na prática. Mas para que esta reflexão
se concretizasse, abordamos como objetivos específicos distinguir poema e poesia,
reconhecer a estrutura literária do poema para ligarmos com outras definições como a
de análise literária e de conceito básico referente à diferença entre comentário e
interpretação. Feita esta parte teórica, partimos para a prática que foi contextualizar vida
e obra de Manuel Bandeira e proceder à análise, comentário e interpretação do poema
“Alumbramento” do mesmo poeta. Utilizamos a pesquisa bibliográfica para a realização
deste trabalho em referência aos teóricos da nossa literatura como Antonio Candido,
Massaud Moisés, entre outros.

ABSTRACT
For the development of this research around theory of analysis of the poem, it is
necessary in the first chapter a review of the concepts on poem, poetry and literary
analysis. It also sought, to study in this chapter, identify the constituent elements of the
poem (verse/ rhythm/ rhyme etc.). In the second, we worked with analytical practice
contextualizing initially to the life and work of Manuel Bandeira to develop the analysis
of the poem “enlightenment”. The present work aimed to reflect about the analysis of
the poem both in the theory as in the practice. But for this reflection if achieved, as we
have specific objectives distinguish põem and poetry, recognize the literary structure of
the poem for we link together with other settings such as the analysis of literary and
basic concept regarding the difference between commentary and interpretation. Made
this theoretical part, we assume for the practice that was put life and work of Manuel
Bandeira and carrying out the analysis, commentary and interpretation of the poem
“enlightenment” of the same poet. We use the bibliographic research for this work in
reference to theorists of our literature as Antonio Candido, Massaud Moisés, among
others.
