Yesterday evening there was a parade
in our town. I went out with some
friends. We were at a parade. There
were lots of people. We watched the
children dressed as pirates, clowns…
and we took photos of them. We walked
the whole night, talked and stopped
here and there to have something to eat
and drink.
At the end of the evening we arrived
home tired, at midnight. The walk
lasted a long time, about two and a half
hours.
We didn’t study for the test but we

Jake, you can’t imagine what
happened to me last weekend!
I usually use gel on my hair. It’s my
dad’s gel.
On Saturday morning my mother
bought a new gel. After getting dressed
I decided to use that new gel on my hair
as usual, in spite of the wrapper being
different.
One hour later when my friends
knocked at the door and when I
opened it they stared at me. They didn’t
stop laughing, but I didn’t understand
what was happening.
Finally I looked back at the mirror and
I found out my hair was completely red.
The new gel wasn’t gel after all. It was
used to dye hair.
It was so embarrassing that my face
was as red as my hair, but then I started
to laugh too, because I looked really
funny!
