Acumulação de fatores: capital físico, população e capital humano (educação e saúde). Produtividade: papel da tecnologia, eficiência, economia aberta. O Debate sobre a Convergência. Contabilidade do Crescimento. Fundamentos: governo, desigualdade da renda e cultura. Objetivos O curso visa iniciar os estudantes na Teoria do Crescimento Econômico tendo como questão central o estudo das causas que fazem alguns países serem mais ricos que outros, tanto em termos de nível de renda per capita como em termos de taxas de crescimento. O curso tem como meta instrumentalizar o aluno com conhecimento teórico e empírico sobre os mecanismos do crescimento econômico e treinar os alunos para desenharem e conduzirem pesquisas relacionadas ao crescimento econômico. Metodologia Avaliação A nota final será a média aritmética ponderada dos itens A, B , onde:.
