The winner at the MercedesCup 2016 at Stuttgart Weissenhof
was Austrian Dominic Thiem. The winners of the tournament
gala were the many innocent people in need that are
supported by the Ernst Prost Foundation. At the auction
the top prizes such as a tennis racket hand-signed
by Roger Federer and an exclusive trip to the Maldives
fetched a proud sum of 38,000 euros in aid of
the Ernst Prost Foundation. Thank you very much!

margin. Plus, you avoid the pricing pressure
and comparability that is created when

together the service packages we have made
sure that the work is easy to carry out. In
order to inspire workshops for this concept
an Excel calculation tool was also developed,
which shows a clear overview of additional
earnings. A pioneer of the Car Performance
Plan is LIQUI MOLY Mexico, which has
practiced the principle for many years,
particularly at car dealerships. In fact,

There are moments that simply leave you speechless. And yet the events have to be put into words
in order to deal with what you have experienced.
That this works best together has been shown by
TEAM BAYERN in the town of Simbach am Inn that
has been particularly hard-hit by floods. At this aid
campaign by BAYERN 3 and the Bavarian Red Cross
our employee Michael Zell (Commercial Vehicles
Area Manager) was also involved for many days
as a local head of operations. For Ernst Prost
(LIQUI MOLY CEO) it was a point of honor to give
him the required time off and at the same time
unbureaucratically help him with money and
material donations.

at Hess Teknik with members of the BMW Club Denmark he completed
21 treatments with our fully automatic cleaning device JetClean Tronic on just one day!

rounded off this successful day. Result: More than 40 happy car owners and

Fast mover in Slovenia
It was anything other than slow at the exclusive
customer event at our partner EUROTON
in Slovenia! The rapid program with practical
demonstrations, presentation of our broad range
and exclusive drum campaign was met with a great
deal of acceptance by our guests. The proud
result: Around 300 inspired guests, 60 oil drums
sold and 1 highly sympathetic brand appearance.

„tunen“ quasi den Grundstoff und machen ihn
erst richtig leistungsfähig. Ihre Aufgaben sind
Reinigung, Pflege, Verschleißminderung, Korrosionsschutz und Leistungssteigerung. Ohne
Additive könnten weder der Treibstoff noch das
Öl die geforderte Leistung erbringen.

Der Kraftstoff an der Tankstelle ist zwar
schon ab Werk mit einigen Additiven versehen worden, um ihn hochwertiger zu machen. Ein modernes High-Tech-Öl besteht
sogar bis zu 25 Prozent aus Additiven. Trotzdem gibt es im Laufe eines Motorlebens Situationen, in denen es sinnvoll ist, weitere
Additive hinzu zu geben.
Öladditive:
• Mit der Zeit sammeln sich Asche, Ruß und
Abrieb im Motoröl an – einer der Gründe regelmäßig das Öl zu wechseln. Diese Stoffe
setzen sich im Ölkreislauf ab und können
die Schmierung beeinträchtigen – bis hin
zum Motorschaden. Hier hilft z.B. eine
Motor-Spülung. Das Additiv wird vor dem
Ölwechsel dem Öl zugegeben. Seine Reinigungswirkstoffe lösen die Ablagerungen, die
dann beim Ölwechsel zusammen mit dem
Altöl abgelassen werden. Vorbeugend lassen
sich hier pflegende Additive einsetzen, die
Reibung und Verschleiß im Motor verringern.
• Wenn ein älterer Motor Öl verliert, können
u.a. gealterte Motordichtungen die Ursache
sein. Ein entsprechendes Additiv regeneriert
spröde Dichtungen und macht sie wieder
weich und geschmeidig, so dass sie wieder
dichten und der Ölverlust verhindert wird.
Die Inhaltsstoffe brauchen aber z.B. beim
Auto 600 bis 800 Kilometer Fahrstrecke, um
Wirkung zu zeigen. Ein ähnliches Produkt
gibt es auch für Getriebeöl.

Vorher (oben) und nachher: Eine Motor-Spülung löst die Ablagerungen, die dann beim
Ölwechsel zusammen mit dem Altöl abgelassen werden.
Kraftstoffadditive:
• Jeder Verbrennungsvorgang im Motor hinterlässt winzige Ablagerungen, die sich im Brennraum, an den Einspritzdüsen, Ventilen oder Düsennadeln und am Kolbenboden festsetzen.
Dies führt zur Beeinträchtigung der Motorleistung, erhöhtem Kraftstoffverbrauch und
damit auch zu höheren Emissionen. Spezielle
Additive entfernen chemisch die Verbrennungsrückstände, sorgen so für einen besseren
Motorlauf, geringeren Verbrauch und Emissionen. Auch hier lassen sich vorbeugend Additive einsetzen, um Ablagerungen im Inneren des
Motors von vorn herein zu verhindern.
• Benzin und Diesel altern. Ein Problem das z.B.
saisonal genutzte Fahrzeuge wie eben Boote betrifft. Mit einem Benzin-Stabilisator als Additiv
• Gegen die berüchtigte „Dieselpest“ kann ebenfalls vorbeugend ein Additiv zum Kraftstoff
hinzugegeben werden, das verhindert, dass sich
die gefährlichen Bakterien bilden. Das bedingt
aber ein sauberes und nicht schon befallenes
Kraftstoffsystem. Ansonsten ist eine Tankreinigung notwendig. Im Anschluss daran ist so ein
Additiv vorbeugend aber sehr sinnvoll.
• Viele Tourenskipper und Trailerboot-Fahrer
können ein Lied davon singen: Die Spritqualität kann sich von Land zu Land, manchmal
sogar von Tankstelle zu Tankstelle unterscheiden. Mit minderwertigem Treibstoff bringt der
Motor nicht mehr die volle Leistung, läuft unruhig, der Sprit verbrennt nicht mehr sauber,
Rückstände lagern sich im Inneren des Motors
ab und können zu Schäden führen. Entsprechende Additive in der Backskiste können helfen, diese mangelnde Spritqualität zu kompensieren und so für einen runden Lauf und einen
sauberen Motor sorgen.

lado tem de ser gerido e tem de ter um
equilíbrio muito próprio”, disse. Sadhna
Monteiro, de resto, não se revê na ideia de
que, no aftermarket, tenha de existir uma
“equidade de 50/50 entre homens e mulheres”. Tudo terá de acontecer de forma
“harmoniosa”. No seu caso em particular,
Sadhna Monteiro nunca sentiu qualquer
pressão no setor por ser mulher. “Mas
sei de colegas, na mesma posição, que
sentiram essa resistência”. Em sua opinião,
importante para o sucesso profissional,
mais do que o charme feminino, que
pode “abrir portas”, importa, isso sim, “a
competência” do ser humano.

Porque decidiram criar a Liqui Moly
Iberia e quais os objetivos desta
nova empresa?
Sabemos o potencial que o mercado
Ibérico tem e faz sentido criar uma sinergia que permita uma política e estratégia

mercados apresentam. Desta forma, conseguimos maior visibilidade e projeção

própria para Espanha. Eu fico como diretor-geral para a Península Ibérica e a Sadhna
Monteiro será responsável pela direção de
marketing e desenvolvimento de negócios
ibéricos. José Pereira é o nosso gestor comercial para a Iberia e Thomas Hilzendeger
- que estará sediado em Espanha - será
gestor comercial em Espanha. Estamos,
neste momento, a recrutar comerciais em
Espanha para cobrir todo o território e fazermos, assim, o acompanhamento dos
nossos clientes. A sede continuará a ser em
Portugal onde temos escritório e armazém
e de onde faremos o envio de mercadoria
e gestão do mercado em Espanha.
Como se vai processar a distribuição
dos produtos Liqui Moly em Espanha?
Até ao momento, tínhamos uma distribuição reduzida, com pouca ação direta
no mercado. Mas, a partir de agora, sabemos quais os parceiros que gostaríamos
de ter em Espanha e estamos, neste momento, em negociações e a efetuar prospeção no mercado. Para já, confirmamos
a nossa parceria com a Cecauto e o Grupo
Auto Union, sendo nosso objetivo ter cobertura nacional.
No primeiro trimestre deste ano, a
Liqui Moly registou um resultado
recorde em Portugal. Considera que
ainda há potencial para crescerem
no nosso país?
Sim, temos tido sempre um crescimento
muito positivo. E, neste último trimestre,
registamos um recorde nunca antes alcançado em Portugal. Ainda assim, consideramos que há muito para crescer e
para explorar no mercado português, até
porque a Liqui Moly não é só especialista
e de ter uma fiabilidade extrema leva o
consumidor a querer experimentar algo
diferente sem reservas e esperando sempre resultados positivos.
A Liqui Moly também cresceu a nível
global, tendo aumentado o número
de colaboradores? A empresa aposta
mais no crescimento quantitativo ou
qualitativo?
Diria que aposta em ambos. Um aumento
qualitativo leva, quase diretamente, a um
aumento quantitativo. A qualidade é um
dos nossos requisitos principais, seja no
produto, no merchandising ou nos recursos humanos. E daí advém também o
nosso crescimento, que, em muitos casos,
supera as expectativas. Não basta ter um

Iremos reforçar o nosso stock em Portugal
para permitir uma maior rapidez na satisfação das necessidades do mercado espanhol, apesar de as entregas maiores serem
efetuadas de forma direta da nossa fábrica,
na Alemanha. Para além disso, manteremos
em Espanha o apoio até agora prestado
em Portugal com campanhas, formações
e acompanhamento comercial. O modelo
é exatamente o mesmo. Para além de irmos
investir em feiras e exposições que consideremos importantes e que sirvam o propósito de crescimento em ambos os países.
Quais as razões do sucesso do modelo
de negócio implantado em Portugal e
que querem replicar em Espanha?
O modelo de negócio implantado em
Portugal é resultado da experiência apreendida no mercado automotivo mais exigente
do mundo: a Alemanha. Replicámos cá o
formato alemão e como se pode ver nos
últimos anos, o nosso crescimento e reconhecimento em Portugal foi exponencial.
Já na Alemanha e pelo 6.º ano consecutivo,
fomos nomeados a marca n.º1, deixando
para trás marcas de prestígio e com maior
tradição nesse país. Podemos então dizer
que este modelo funciona! O sucesso deve-

-se a esta vasta experiência e, também, ao
facto de a marca estar, constantemente,
em campo, apoiando diretamente as oficinas com questões técnicas, formações,
demonstrações práticas, campanhas e

O mercado em Espanha é diferente do
português a nível da distribuição e do
retalho. Não receiam que o modelo
de negócio que funciona bem em
Portugal possa não funcionar bem em
Espanha?
Existem, de facto, diferenças entre os
mercados português e espanhol, sendo
que não são determinantes para colocar
em causa este modelo de negócio. Esta
estratégia germânica implica que a venda
seja efetuada através da grande distribuição
ou central de compras e que os nosso comerciais façam, depois, o acompanhamento ao cliente final, que, neste caso, são

no mercado do aftermarket mas, também,
em outros mercados, como a Indústria, as
Motos, a Náutica...
Relativamente a estes mercados,
lançaram uma gama específica para
motociclos. Qual foi a recetividade
do mercado a esta nova gama de
produtos?
A adesão foi extremamente positiva,
pese embora haja uma tradição neste
mercado em Portugal de outras marcas.
O facto de o nosso produto ser premium
bom produto, é fundamental ter uma boa
equipa e estar rodeado de pessoas extraordinárias e que gostem do que fazem. Esta
é a nossa aposta!
Os mercados de leste, incluindo a
Rússia, atravessam graves problemas
políticos e económicos. O que tenciona a Liqui Moly fazer para compensar
a perda de vendas que tinha nestes
mercados?

impacto no início da crise dos países de
leste, como a Rússia, e que, entretanto,
recuperamos com êxito. A Liqui Moly não

o mercado do aftermarket, tendo tradição
em desenvolver e estruturar podutos para
outros mercados. Digamos que esta característica é outra vantagem que nos
distingue da concorrência e que, num
momento de crise, marca, de facto, a diferença. Tentamos sempre implementar
todos os nossos produtos no mercado e,
no caso de haver uma crise com um canal
específico, temos sempre outras opções,
seja a Indústria, Agricultura, Motociclos
ou outras. No passado, não éramos tão
exigentes com esta proliferação no mercado, mas, hoje em dia, tentamos abranger todos os mercados e canais possíveis,
o que evita e diminui o impacto de alguma
crise ou desequilíbrio. Felizmente, tem-nos
sido sempre possível recuperar devido a
esta nossa faceta multi oferta.
Quais são as expectativas de volume
de negócio para a Liqui Moly Iberia a
curto prazo?
Esperamos continuar o ano exatamente
como o começámos... em crescimento, e
contamos também que esse crescimento
seja na ordem dos 2 dígitos. Com as parcerias que pretendemos concretizar até
final de 2016, queremos duplicar o volume
de vendas para a Península Ibérica em 2017.
A nível global temos expectativas muito
exigentes. A visão de crescimento e penetração de mercados é uma visão interna
aplicada em todo o mundo. Estamos atentos em todos os mercados, seja através das
nossas filiais, seja através dos nossos parceiros e importadores, dando-lhes todo o
suporte e ferramentas para que seja possível o aumento de presença em qualquer
mercado, independentemente das suas
condições sociais e políticas. Como veem
temos um desafio extraordinário pela frente
que na verdade combina com a nossa postura natural que é a de encontrar sempre
soluções para tudo aquilo a que nos propomos. Queremos continuar a crescer em

Seremos uma marca de referência e de
peso no aftermarket ibérico dentro da fatia
que cabe a uma marca premium, que tem
sido desde sempre o nosso perfil. O mercado de massas será sempre partilhado
entre muitas outras marcas, mas, neste
mercado premium, contamos, em cinco
anos, ser uma referência determinante e
líderes. No restante mercado, manteremos
a presença, mas não é nossa pretensão

Пришла весна, и миллионы наших соотечественников занялись любимым
садом и огородом. Технический прогресс не обошел эту отрасль стороной.
Однако газонокосилки, культиваторы,
триммеры, бензопилы, как и любая
моторизованная техника, требуют
специализированного обслуживания
и качественных масел и смазок. Компания Liqui Moly разработала и выпускает в Германии ряд продуктов
специально для садовой техники. Но
почему нельзя пользоваться хорошим
автомобильным моторным маслом?
Высокая нагрузка
Двигатели садовых машин, в отличие
от автомобильных, подавляющую
часть времени работают либо на холостом ходу, либо на максимальных
оборотах – то есть при постоянной высокой нагрузке. Кроме того, двигатели
садовой техники оснащены не жидкостным, а воздушным охлаждением,
эффективность которого ниже. Поэтому рабочая температура двигателя
достаточно высока, и масло должно
быть рассчитано на такой режим. Система смазки четырехтактных двигателей садовой техники тоже отличается
от автомобильной – там отсутствует
масляный насос. Шатун смазывается
при помощи специального «черпачка» на нижней головке, что требует
узкого диапазона оптимальной вязкости масла. Для сезонной техники,
оснащенной такими двигателями (например, газонокосилки), выпускаетcя
летнее моторное масло RasenmaherOil SAE 30 с оптимальной вязкостью.
А для всесезонного использования
силовой техники (электрогенераторов, снегоуборщиков, мини-тракторов, насосов и др.) с четырехтактными моторами подойдет всесезонное
масло Universal 4-Takt Gartengerate-
Oil 10W-30, превышающее требования производителей моторов Briggs &
Stratton, Honda, Tecumseh.
Особые требования
В бензокосах, триммерах, бензопилах часто используются двухтактные
двигатели, что делает технику более
компактной, но накладывает особые
требования на моторное масло (которое предварительно смешивают
с топливом). При сгорании смеси не
должно образовываться дыма или
золы (то есть масло должно иметь
низкую зольность). И наконец, масло
и смазка могут попасть на почву участка. При использовании продуктов
компании Liqui Moly трагедии в этом
нет: все масла этой марки, предназначенные для садовой техники, соответствуют самым строгим немецким экологическим стандартам и при
попадании в почву полностью разлагаются под действием света, влаги
и кислорода на безвредные компоненты. В семейство масел для двухтактных двигателей садовой техники
входят бездымные моторные масла –
минеральное 2-Takt Motorsagen-Oil
для тяжелонагруженных бензопил
с воздушным охлаждением, а также
универсальное
полусинтетическое
2-Takt-Motoroil. Масла для двухтактных двигателей окрашены в красный
цвет для индикации наличия масла
в топливной смеси.
Легко и без хлопот
Моторными маслами садовая программа Liqui Moly не исчерпывается.
Масло Sage-Kettenoil предназначено
для цепи бензопилы. В его основе –
растительные компоненты, полученные из рапсовых масел, так что оно
полностью безопасно и биоразлагаемо. Еще одно очень полезное средство – Pflege-Spray fur Garten-Gerate,
универсальный аэрозоль для смазывания, защиты и очистки садовой техники и инвентаря, изготовленный на
основе растительных масел. А чтобы
без хлопот завести садовую технику
после зимнего простоя, можно использовать средство Start Fix, в состав
которого входят этиловый эфир и антикоррозийные присадки.

Каждый автомобиль по-своему индивидуален. Один
горяч, другой обстоятелен, третий и вовсе тихоход.
И у каждого – свои требования к тормозной жидкости
Д
ля начала немного о том, откуда появился сам
термин DOT. Это не что иное, как название американского Департамента транспорта (Department
of Transportation), который в свое время установил
стандарты на тормозные жидкости, пронумеровав их,
соответственно, DOT 3, DOT 4 и так далее. С тех пор весь
мир этим стандартом пользуется.
стандарты, то видно, что DOT 3 можно применять в тихоходных автомобилях с дисковыми или барабанными тормозами. Она кое-как справится с работой антиблокировочной
системы ранних поколений, но, к примеру, в продвинутых
современных машинах попросту закипит. Вот, кстати,
мы и подошли к главному критерию тормозной жидкости –
температуре её кипения.
ВСЕ РАВНЫ?
Прежде всего, можно ли смешивать разные типы жидкостей? И да, и нет! Как ни странно, ответ на этот вопрос целиком и полностью зависит от совершенства тормозной
системы автомобиля. Формально вся линейка тормозных
жидкостей от одного производителя в стандартах от DOT
3 до DOT 5.1 смешивается в любых пропорциях, и такой
коктейль не должен оказывать негативного влияния
на состояние тормозов. Единственный продукт, который
нельзя добавлять ни при каких обстоятельствах, имеет
стандарт DOT 5, без точки и единицы. Вот эта, сугубо
гоночная силиконовая жидкость неприменима в системах обычных машин. Она рассчитана на такие же специфические материалы тормозной системы и абсолютно
обособлена от остальных. Что до остальных, то действует
принцип «новое поглощает старое, но не наоборот».
То есть пятнадцатилетнему автомобилю, которому заводом прописана жидкость стандарта DOT 3, совершенно
безболезненно подойдут и 4, и 5.1. Но вот современному
внедорожнику с развитыми системами динамической помощи водителю годятся только те, класс которых не ниже
указанных заводом.
ТОЧКА КИПЕНИЯ И ВЯЗКОСТЬ
Чем современнее автомобиль, чем выше его мощность
и скорость, тем больше энергии необходимо для его
остановки. А значит, выше нагрев тормозов. Вместе с тормозами нагревается жидкость. В этом нет ничего страшного. Фатальная опасность подстерегает водителя, если
жидкость внутри тормозного цилиндра закипит, и паровая
субстанция станет сжимаемой. В такой ситуации тормоза
просто откажут! Чтобы этого не произошло, производители изобретают сложные основы жидкостей, закипающие
только при очень высоких температурах.
Важно помнить, что на температуру кипения оказывает влияние и время эксплуатации. Тормозные жидкости
гигроскопичны и быстро впитывают влагу из воздуха.
Через два-три года смесь с водой начнёт закипать
заметно раньше. Особые присадки призваны снизить
подобный эффект, благодаря чему жидкости более
ОТЛИЧИЯ ОЧЕВИДНЫ
Итак, старая знакомая всем жидкость стандарта DOT 3
была рассчитана на эксплуатацию в малонагруженных
тормозных системах автомобилей. Представитель этого
устаревшего класса – отечественный продукт «Нева»,
появившийся в России вместе с первыми дисковыми тормозами 412-го Москвича. До неё о ДОТах говорили только
применительно к военным оборонительным укреплениям,
а в качестве тормозной жидкости использовали архаичную «красную» смесь бутилового спирта с касторкой –
БСК, с характерным запахом. Если внимательно изучить

высокого класса устойчивее к «мокрому» кипению.
Под «мокрым» кипением подразумевается точка закипания смеси жидкости с водой.
Не менее важна и низкотемпературная вязкость
тормозной жидкости – чтобы в мороз под –50 °С педаль
тормоза не встала колом. Наконец, чтобы быстрее и точнее передать усилие от тормозной педали к колодкам,
нужна низкая вязкость жидкости при нормальных условиях. Проще говоря, тормозная жидкость никогда не должна
превращаться в сироп, с трудом прокачиваемый по тонким
тормозным трубкам.
ПРЕДМЕТНЫЙ РАЗГОВОР
Чтобы лучше понять, в чём заключаются различия тормозных жидкостей разных поколений, используем популярную
у нас линейку Liqui Moly. Начнём с DOT 4, так как DOT 3
рассчитана на автомобили без ABS, а их на современных
конвейерах почти не осталось. DOT 4 – это синтетический
продукт с присадками, которые предотвращают коррозию
и окисление металлических внутренностей тормозов.
Жидкость содержит компоненты, борющиеся с образованием водяных паровых пробок, и может использоваться
в тормозных системах как с ABS, так и без неё. Это наиболее часто встречающийся тип жидкости, применимый
в большинстве современных автомобилей. Максимальная
температура кипения у DOT 4 – не менее 230 °С.
Её более совершенная версия SL6 DOT 4 соответствует
классу 6 стандарта ISO-4925, который регламентирует
маловязкие жидкости. Этот продукт создан на основе
гликольэстеров и эфиров борной кислоты и специально
разработан для увеличения срока эксплуатации тормозной
гидравлики. Имеет высокую «сухую» температуру кипения (речь о жидкости, не загрязнённой влагой) и высокую
температуру кипения в увлажненном состоянии. Обладает
низкой вязкостью при низких температурах. SL6 DOT 4
используется в машинах, оборудованных современными
системами безопасности ESP/DSC, ABS и ASR, а также
в мотоциклах. Температура кипения SL6 DOT 4 составляет
не менее 265 °С.
Следующая по рангу – DOT 5.1. Вот именно так,
с точкой, поскольку без неё – чистая пятёрка, и это,
как мы выяснили, особый силиконовый состав для спорта
ликбез

с чрезвычайно высокой температурой закипания – 320 °С.
Полностью синтетическая, на основе полигликолей, DOT
5.1 содержит присадки против коррозии и существенно
уменьшает процесс окисления при высокой температуре.
Она рассчитана на удлиненные интервалы замены и подходит для автомобилей с ABS, благодаря низкой вязкости
при – 40°С, равной 900 единицам. Сниженная вязкость позволяет тормозам срабатывать быстрее и точнее. Кроме
того, DOT 5.1 хорошо смазывает все подвижные детали
тормозной системы. Жидкости этого класса используют
в основном там, где частые разгоны и интенсивные торможения – обычное дело. Речь тут не только о стрит-рэйсерах, «зажигающих» на ночных улицах. DOT 5.1 выдержит тяжелый режим резкого торможения трехтонного
внедорожника с груженым прицепом или длительные
непрерывные торможения на опасном каменистом спуске. Закипает эта жидкость минимум при 260 °С.
НИЧТО НЕ ВЕЧНО ПОД ЛУНОЙ
Залив тормозную жидкость в бачок автомобиля, вы
включаете счетчик времени, в течение которого в неё
постоянно будут попадать влага из воздуха, абразивная
пыль от истирания тормозных поршней о стенки цилиндров, мельчайшие фрагменты резиновых уплотнений
и оксид металла, из которого сделаны тормозные трубки. Если не обращать внимания на эти тикающие часы,
то через пару-тройку лет вы заметите явное потемнение
или даже почернение тормозной жидкости – верный
знак необходимости её срочной замены. Но в идеале
менять ее нужно не дожидаясь явных симптомов – максимум через полтора-два года. А ещё лучше, инструментально проверить процент влаги при помощи гигрометра. Тем более что сделать это можно самостоятельно.
В продаже есть миниатюрные приборы размером
не больше обычного маркера.
Итак, чаще всего в наши машины заливается рядовая
жидкость DOT 4. Приплюсовав к этому стандарту приставку SL6, получим более специфический продукт для автомобилей с продвинутыми системами стабилизации,
а выбрав на полке «пятерку с единицей», можем смело
воображать себя гонщиками «Дакара» в местном, поселковом, формате.

COMPLETENESS
We need the following information for each submitted photo:
• Complete names of all persons shown
(first/last name, job/career, company etc.).
• For group photos, the names from left to right.
• Place and date the photo was taken (precise address,
e.g. name and location of the workshop).
• Detailed information and anecdotes regarding the photo
(exhibition, event, award …).
IMAGE QUALITY
• For optimum presentation the images should have a resolution
of at least 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (the better the resolution,
the larger the images can be).
• File attachments in e-mails should be no larger than 25 MB.
• Unfortunately, heavily blurred, faded or rotated photos as well
as badly lit pictures cannot be used.

FILE FORMAT
• Please send photos/images preferably as jpg or tiff files.
• Send graphics or presentations as PDF or PowerPoint
presentations.
• Write texts and image captions directly in the mail or
send as a separate document (Word, Excel or RTF).
CLOSING DATE
The magazine is issued monthly. Therefore, we ask
that content be delivered promptly. Photos and articles
that are sent after the respective closing date always appear
in the following issue.
