ÖNEMLİ EMNİYET TALİMATLARI
KULLANMADAN ÖNCE BÜTÜN TALİMATLARI OKUYUNUZ.
1. Ütüyü sadece kullanım amacı dahilinde kullanınız.
2. Elektrik çarpma riskine karşı korunmak için, ütüyü suya veya başka sıvıların içine
sokmayınız.
3. Ütünün fişini prize takmadan veya çıkartmadan önce ütü daima “off” konumuna
getirilmelidir. Ütüyü prizden çekerken kablosundan değil,fişinden sıkıca tutarak çekiniz.
4. Kablonun sıcak yüzeylere temas etmesine izin vermeyiniz. Ütüyü yerine kaldırmadan
önce tamamen soğumasını bekleyiniz. Ütüyü saklayacağınız zaman kabloyu hafifçe
ütünün etrafına sarınız.
5. Ütüye su dolduracağınız zaman veya boşaltacağınız zaman ve kullanmadığınız
zaman ütünün fişini prizden çekiniz.
6. Ütüyü hasarlı bir kablo ile veya ütü yere düşmüşse veya hasara uğramışsa
çalıştırmayınız. Elektrik çarpma riskinden kaçınmak için ütüyü kendiniz demonte
etmeyiniz, bakımı ve tamiri için en yakın yetkili KING servisine götürünüz. Yanlış
demonte edilmesi ütü kullanılacağı zaman elektrik çarpma riskine neden olabilir.
7. Herhangi bir cihaz çocuklar tarafından veya yanlarında kullanılacağı zaman yakın
gözetim gerekmektedir. Ütü prize takılıyken veya ütü masasının üzerindeyken yalnız
bırakmayınız.
8. Sıcak metal parçalara, sıcak suya ve buhara dokunulması yanıklara neden olabilir.
Ütüyü baş aşağı çevireceğiniz zaman çok dikkatli olunuz – su deposunda sıcak su
olabilir.
9. Eğer ütü de hasar durumu varsa ve normal çalışmıyorsa fişini prizden hemen çekiniz
ve en yakın yetkili KING servisine götürünüz.
10. Ütü düz ve sabit bir yüzeyin üzerinde kullanılmalıdır ve yerleştirilmelidir.
11.Ütüyü arka kısmının üzerine oturtacağınız zaman yüzeyin sabit olduğundan emin
olunuz.
12.Ütü yere düşmüşse, üzerinde hasar belirtileri varsa veya akıtıyorsa
kullanılmamalıdır.
13. Fiziksel veya akli yetersizliklerden dolayı ve tecrübesizlik ve bilgi eksikliğinden
dolayı, bu cihazı güvenli bir şekilde kullanmaya yetersiz kişilerin (çocuklar dahil) yakın
gözetim olmadan veya uzman bir kişinin talimatı olmadan kullanmalarına izin

ÖZEL TALİMATLAR
1. Aşırı akım yüklenmesinden kaçınmak için aynı akım üzerinde (priz hattı üzerinde)
yüksek wattlı başka bir cihaz kullanmayınız.
2. Eğer uzatma kablosu gerçekten gerekli ise, 10 amperlik bir kablo kullanılmalıdır. Daha
düşük amperli kablolar aşırı ısınabilir. Kablonun çekilmedğinden veya düğüm olmadığın
dan emin olunuz.

GENEL TALİMATLAR
Ütüyü ilk defa kullanacağınız zaman, hafif bir koku çıkabilir ve plastiklerin genleşmesin
den dolayı bazı sesler duyabilirsiniz. Bu normaldir ve kısa bir süre gideceklerdir. Ütüyü
ilk defa kullanmadan önce ütüyü sıradan bir giysinin üzerinde gezdirmenizi de tavsiye
ederiz.
ÜTÜYÜ İLK DEFA KULLANMADAN ÖNCE YAPILMASI GEREKENLER
1. Ütünün bazı parçaları hafifçe makine yağı ile yağlanmıştır, dolayısıyla ütüyü ilk prize
taktığınızda hafif bir koku çıkaracaktır. Bu koku kısa bir süre sonra gidecektir.
2. Ütüyü ilk defa kullanmadan önce, tabanından plastik koruyucuyu (eğer varsa)
çıkartınız, tabanı yumuşak bir bez ile siliniz.
3. Tabanı çok düzgün tutunuz. Metal objelerin üzerinde (ütü masası, düğmeler, fermuar
vs.) gezdirmeyiniz.
4. Saf yün kumaşlar (%100 yün) cihazla buhar konumunda ütülenebilir; yüksek bir buhar
konumu seçiniz ve kuru bir ütüleme bezi kullanınız.
Isının seçilmesi
1. Ütülenecek olan giysinin üzerindeki ütüleme talimatlarını kontrol ediniz.
2. Eğer giysinin üzerinde talimat yoksa fakat siz giysinin ne türden olduğunu biliyorsanız
aşağıdaki tabloyu kullanınız.
3. Bazı kumaşlar (parlak, pileli, kontrast,..) en düşük ısıda ütülenebilirler.
4. Eğer kumaş birkaç çeşit iplik içeriyorsa daima uygulanabilecek ısıyı seçiniz. Eğer bir
giysinin %60’ı polyester ve %40’ı pamuksa daima polyestere uygun ısıyı seçmelisiniz ve
buharsız ütülemelisiniz.
5. Ütülenecek giysileri ilk önce en uygun ütüleme ısısına göre sınıflandırınız: yünü yünle,
pamuğu pamukla gibi. Ütü soğuduğundan daha çabuk ısınır, en düşük ısıya ihtiyaç duyan
sentetik kumaşları ütüleyerek başlayınız. En yüksek ısıya doğru ütülemeye devam ediniz.
6. Isı kontrol düğmesini aşağıdakilere göre uygun işaretin önüne gelene kadar çeviriniz.
Ütülemeye düşük ısıya ihtiyaç duyan giyeceklerden başlayınız.
Bu bekleme süresini azaltır (ütü soğudundan daha kısa sürede ısınır) ve kumaşın
bozulma riskini elimine eder.
Su deposunun doldurulması
1. Fişin prizden çekili olduğundan emin olunuz..
2. Buhar ayar düğmesini kuru ütüleme konumuna getiriniz.
3. Su deposunu doldurma deliğinden doldurunuz.
4. Eğer suyunuz sert ise, sadece distile ve deminarelize su kullanmanız tavsiye edilir.
Kimyasal yollarla arındırılmış su ve parfüm kullanmayınız.
5. Ütüyü su deposu doluyken saklamayınız.
BUHARLI ÜTÜLEME
1. Ütüyü “Su deposunun doldurulması” bölümünde anlatıldığı şekilde doldurunuz.
2. Ütünün fişini prize takınız.
3. Buharlı ütüleme sadece ısı kontrol düğmesi ile en yüksek ısı seçildiği zaman
yapılabilir. Aksi takdirde tabanın altından su kaçabilir.
4. İstenilen sıcaklığa ulaştığını gösteren pilot lambanın sönmesini bekleyiniz.
5. Buhar ayar düğmesini istediğiniz konuma getiriniz.
6. Ütüleme bittiği zaman veya ara verirseniz, ütüyü dik konumda yerleştiriniz.
7. Ütünün fişini prizden çekiniz. Su deposunda kalan suyu dökünüz ve ütüyü
soğumaya bırakınız.
SPRAY
1. Püskürtme, ister kuru ister buharlı ütüleme olsun her konumda su deposunun
içinde su olduğu sürece kullanılabilir.
2. Bu fonksiyon için püskürtme düğmesine basınız.
NOT: Bu fonksiyonu ilk kez başlatmak için püskürtme düğmesine ard arda
basılmalıdır.
ŞOK BUHAR
Şok buhar inatçı kırışıkları çıkartmak için ekstra buhar verir.
1. Isı ayar düğmesini “max.” konuma ayarlayınız ve pilot lamba sönene kadar
bekleyiniz.
2. Düğmeye tekrar basmadan önce buharın giysiye geçmesi için birkaç saniye
bekleyiniz.
NOT: En iyi buhar kalitesi için, her seferinde üç başarılı çıkıştan fazlasını
kullanmayınız. Birkaç pompalama hareketi bu fonksiyonu başlatmak içn gereklidir.
DAMLAMA ÖNLEYİCİ SİSTEM
Damlama önleyici system ile en hassas kumaşları bile mükemmel bir şekilde
ütüleyebilirsiniz.
Bu kumaşları daima düşük ısıda ütüleyiniz. Ütü tabanı buhar gelmeyecek noktada
soğuyabilir ve kumaş üzerinde iz ve lekeler bırakacak şekilde kaynar su damlayabilir.
Bu gibi durumlarda damlama önleyici sistem otomatik olarak devreye girerek
buharlaşmayı önler ve sizde hiç bir leke bırakma riski olmadan en hassas kumaşları
bile ütüleyebilirsiniz.
TEMİZLİK
1. Temizlemeden önce cihazın fişini prizden çekiniz.
2. Ütüyü temizlemek için çözücüler ve aşınıdırıcı temizlik maddeleri kullanmayınız,
nemli bir bez ile temizleyiniz.
ARIZA VE TAMİRLER
Arızalanmış bir kabloyu değiştirmeye kalkışmayınız. Cihaz en yakın yetkili KING
servisine götürülmelidir.
HATALAR-NEDENLERİ VE ÇÖZÜMLERİ
Ütü koku ve duman çıkartıyor.
Ütü ilk defa çalıştırıldığı zaman hafif bir koku çıkartır. İmalat sırasında kullanılan
yağlar yanmalıdır, kokunun gitmesi için on dakika bekleyiniz.
Ütü Isınmıyor.
Ütü 230 Volt’luk bir prize takılmalıdır. Isı ayar düğmesi istenilen konuma ayarlanmalıdır.
Ütü buhar çıkartmıyor.
Su deposu boş olabilir. Buhar ayar düğmesini “0” konumuna getiriniz ve su ilave
ediniz. Ütünün ısınmasını bekleyiniz ve sonra buhar ayar düğmesini istediğiniz
konuma ayarlayınız.
Şok buhar özelliği çalışmıyor.
Su deposunun en az ¼ ü dolu olmalıdır. Isı buhar konumuna ayarlanmalıdır. Ütü
yatay konumda olmalıdır. Önce hafifçe basınız. Basışlar arasında çok kısa bir an
bekleyiniz. Şok buhar düğmesine tamamen bastığınızdan emin olunuz.
Su püskürtme özelliği çalışmıyor.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using your flatiron, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
1. Use iron only for its intended use.
2. To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse the iron in water or other
liquids.
3. The iron should always be turned to “min”, before plugging or unplugging from outlet.
Never yank cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
4. Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces. Let iron cool completely before putting away.
Loop cord loosely around iron when storing.
5. Always disconnect iron from electrical outlet when filling with water or emptying and
when not in use.
6. Do not operate iron with a damaged cord or if the iron has been dropped or damaged.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the iron. Take it to a qualified
serviceman for examination and repair. Incorrect reassembly can cause a risk of electric
shock when the iron is used.
7. Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children. Do
not leave iron unattended while connected or on an ironing board.
8. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use caution when
you turn a steam iron upside down – there may be hot water in the reservoir.
9. If the malfunction indicator goes on, the flatiron is not operating normally. Disconnect
from the power supply and have the flatiron serviced by qualified service personnel.
10. The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
11.The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage
or if it is leaking.
12.This appliance is not intended for use by persons(including children)with reduced
physical ,sensory or mental capabilities ,or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety .
13.Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with appliance.
14.The iron must not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains;
15.The plug must be removed from the socked-outlet before the water reservoir is filled
with water;
16.When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed
is stable;
17.The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or
if it is leaking.
18.If the supply cord is damaged ,it must be replaced by the manufacturer. its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance on the same
circuit.
2. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 10-ampere cord should be used. Cords
rated for less amperage may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that
it cannot be pulled or tripped over.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
More specifically:
DO NOT let children or untrained persons use the appliance without supervision.
NEVER immerse the iron, cable or plug in any liquid.
DO NOT leave the hot iron touching fabrics or very inflammable surfaces.
DO NOT leave the appliance unnecessarily plugged in. Disconnect the plug from the
mains when the appliance is not being used.
NEVER touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
DO NOT use the power cord or the appliance in order to pull the plug out of the socket.
DO NOT leave the appliance exposed to the weather (rain, sun, etc. ).
DO NOT leave the iron without supervision when it is connected to the power supply.
DO NOT fill the reservoir with water before removing the plug from the socket.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
When using the iron for the first time, you may notice a slight emission of smoke and
hear some sounds made by the expanding plastics. This is quite normal and it stops
after a short time. We also recommend passing the iron over an ordinary cloth before
using it for the first time.
Suggestions before using the iron for the first time
1. Certain parts of the iron have been lightly greased therefore the iron could give off a
little smoke when plugged in for the first time. This will cease after a short while.
2.Before using the iron for the first time , remove the plastic protector from the base
(if it has one) clean the base with a soft cloth.
3. Keep the base very smooth. Do not run it over metal objects
(such as against the ironing board, buttons , zips ,etc.)
4. Pure wool fibres (100% wool)can be ironed with the appliance in the steam position.by
preference ,select a high steam position and use a dry ironing cloth.
Selecting the temperature
1. Check the ironing instructions on the garment to be ironed.
2.If the garment does not have any ironing instructions but you know the kind of fabric in
question, use the chart below.
3. Fabrics that have some kind of finish(polishing . wrinkles , contrasts….)can be ironed at
the lowest temperatures.
4.If the fabric contains several kinds of fibres ,always select the temperature applicable ,if
an article contains 60% polyester and 40% cotton ,you must always choose the temperature corresponding to polyester and without steam.
5. First classify the articles to be ironed according to the most suitable ironing
temperature : wool with wool, cotton with cotton, etc. as the iron heats up as fast as it
cools, start by ironing the articles requiring the lowest temperature such as those made of
synthetic fibres . Progress towards those that require the highest temperatures.
6.Turn the temperature control until it is in front of the appropriate signal according to the
following:
* position for nylon and acetate
** position for wool ,silk or mixures
*** position for cotton or linen (steam).
How to fill the water tank.
1.Unplug the iron.
2.Set the steam ruler to dry ironing .
3.Fill the tank through the filling hole.
4.If you have hard water ,it is advisable to use only distilled or demineralized water.
-do not use chemically de-limed water or perfumed
5.Do not store the iron with water in the tank.
Steam ironing
1.Fill the iron as described in the section “how to fill the water tank”.
2. Plug the iron into the mains.
3.Steam ironing is only possible when the highest temperatures shown on the
temperature control are selected .
Otherwise ,water may escape through the soleplate.
4. Wait until the pilot light goes out , which indicates that the selected temperature has
been reached.
5.Turn the steam button to the required position.
6.When the ironing is finished and during breaks in ironing , place the iron in its upright
position.
7.Disconnect the iron from the mains supply . Pour of any remaining water and leave the
iron to cool off.
SPRAY
1.The spray can be used in any position, either in dry or steam ironing, as long as the
water tank is filled with water.
2.Press the spray button for this function
NOTE : This button has to be pressed repetitively to start this function for the first time.
SHOT OF STEAM
Shot of steam give extra steam for removing persistent wrinkles.
1.Place the temperature selector at the “max”position and wait until the pilot light goes
out
2.Wait for a few seconds for the steam to penetrate the fibre before pressing again.
NOTE : For the best steam quality, do not use more than three successive bursts each
time. Several pumping actions are needed to start this function.Excessive use of this
feature will cause the iron to cool , ensure that the pilot light is out, before operating the
shot of steam control
ANTI-DRIP SYSTEM
With the anti-drip system, you can perfectly iron even the most delicate fabrics.
Always iron these fabrics at low temperatures. The plate may cool down to the point
where no more steam comes out, but rather drops of boiling water that can leave
marks or stains. In these cases, the Anti-drip system automatically activates to
prevent vaporization, so that you can iron the most delicate fabrics without risk of
spoiling or staining them.

Cleaning
1.Disconnect the appliance from the mains , before cleaning.
2.Do not use solvents or abrasive products to clean the iron , clean with a damp
cloth.
Defects and repairs
Do not attempt to replace a defective mains lead .The appliance has to be returned
to an authorized service centre for repair.
Iron emits an odor or smoke
Iron gives off an odor when turned on for the first time. Oils used during manufacture
need to be burnt off allow ten minutes for odor to disappear.
Iron does not heat
The iron should be plugged into a 230 Volt , AC electrical outlet only. The
temperature dial must be set at the desired temperature.
Iron does not steam
The water tank many be empty. Turn the steam valve to “0” and add water .Allow the
iron to heat, and then set the steam dial to the steam setting.
Burst of steam feature does not work
The water tank must be at least 1/4 full .Temperature must be set to steam position.
Iron should be in the horizontal position. Prime pump briefly. Allow a short pause
between shots. Be sure to fully depress the burst of steam button.
Spry mist feature does not work
The water tank must be at least 1/4 full. Fill the iron as described in the section “how
to fill the water tank”.
Iron is leaking
The variable steam dial must be set on”0“,until the iron is hot . The temperature
setting is too low to produce steam. Shot of steam used too much, allow iron to
re-heat

INSTRUÇÕES IMPORTANTES DE SEGURANÇA

INSTRUÇÕES GERAIS
