- 1990 to 2006 – The Architectural Heritage Information System has been developed with a
view to collecting, processing, managing and disseminating information on the Portuguese
or Portuguese influenced architectural heritage (monuments, sites, urban settlements and
cultural landscapes). This system can be accessed via the Internet and won an award for
“Best Practices in Public Administration – Best Online Service” (Deloitte & Touche and Diário
Económico, 2002)

CURRICULUM VITAE
Foi Directora do Serviço de Inventário e Divulgação da Direcção-Geral dos Edifícios e
Monumentos Nacionais (DGEMN), desde 1993 até 2007, (data da extinção deste
organismo).
Foi responsável pela concepção e desenvolvimento do Sistema de Informação para o
Património Arquitectónico (SIPA) e sua difusão na WEB, através do site
monumentos.pt, objecto do prémio “Melhores Práticas da Administração Pública –
Melhor Serviço on-line”, em 2002.
A convite da UNESCO, participou na preparação do Documento de Nara para o
“Desenvolvimento e Integridade das Cidades Históricas”, em 1999 e no Congresso
Virtual “Le Patrimoine Mondial à l’ère numérique: Technologies et nouveaux moyens
appliqués à la documentation, la protection, la gestion, le tourisme durable et
l’éducation”, que assinalou o 30º aniversário da Convenção do Património Mundial.
Participou como responsável pelos conteúdos e como formadora nos cursos ARIS Advanced Courses on Architectural Recording, Documentation and Information
Systems - organizados pelo ICCROM, UNESCO e Getty Foundation e no Mestrado de
Reabilitação Urbana e Arquitectónica, RUA05, do ISCTE.
Foi Directora da revista MONUMENTOS (nº1 a 27), publicação destinada à difusão do
Património, projectos de investigação e técnicas de conservação.
Desde Março de 2008 é assessora no Turismo de Portugal onde desenvolve projectos
de turismo cultural.
