Dia Internacional da Tolerância
O Dia Internacional da Tolerância foi,
de novo, lembrado na nossa Escola pelos
professores e alunos de Inglês.
Esta actividade teve como objectivo
principal a sensibilização de toda a
comunidade escolar para a necessidade
de sermos tolerantes.
Recorde-se que este dia surgiu por
iniciativa da Unesco, em 1995, que
pretendia promover o valor da tolerância
e lutar contra a violência. A tolerância
implica a aceitação de todas as pessoas
que são diferentes.
Nas aulas de Inglês os alunos tiveram
oportunidade de analisar textos e de
discutir este tema. Em seguida,
elaboraram as suas próprias mensagens.
Após ilustração e conclusão das mesmas,
procedeu-se à exposição dos trabalhos
no Centro de Recursos. Os mesmos
foram sujeitos à apreciação dos vários
professores e é pena que nem todos
pudessem ter sido premiados.
Congratulamos todos os participantes
não só pela qualidade dos trabalhos
apresentados, mas também porque as
mensagens revelam grande sensibilidade
e consciencialização quanto às
consequências nefastas da intolerância.
Sejamos tolerantes, compreensivos e
prestáveis e assim haverá paz!
