O BIBLIOTECÁRIO INFIEL: A LITERATURA BASTARDA DE SALMAN RUSHDIE

Resumo
A literatura contemporânea espelha as profundas inquietações sofridas pelo planeta a partir da segunda metade do
século XX. Dentre elas, está o fato de que as minorias, antes silenciadas pela história e literatura canônicas, passam
a produzir um discurso que vem gradativamente alterando as estruturas delimitadoras da modernidade e da
tradição. Este artigo tem por objetivo evidenciar de que modo Salman Rushdie, por meio do arremedo crítico do
discurso canonizado, produz uma literatura aqui denominada de bastarda, porque rasura a estrutura linear das
genealogias lineares.

Abstract
Contemporary Literature shows the deep fidgets suffered by the planet beginning from the second half of twenty
century. Amongst them, there is the fact that minorities in the past silenced for canonic history and literature start to
produce a speech that has gradually been modifying the limiting structures of modernity and tradition. This article
aims to demonstrate in which way Salman Rushdie, through the critical mimic of the canonic speech, produces a
literature here called bastard because it erases the linear structure of linear genealogies.
