FUNDRAISER (Malassadas/Elephant Ears)
Thank you to all of those to the success of the elephant ears fundraiser for
St. Judas Tadeu (Fr. Caputo Mission Brazil) a total of $3800.00 was raised.
February 14th & 15th is another weekend for selling elephant ears. Profits
will be for the church building fund. Anyone wanting to donate the ingredients such as
flour, eggs, sugar, oil etc… please bring to the office or to the church.
2014 Income Tax Receipts –
To all our generous parishioners, the 2014 tax receipts will be mailed out
middle of February 2015. Thank you so much for your support of our faith
community.
Bishop’s Pastoral Letter - Year of Consecrated Life
We inform all Parishioners that copies of a pastoral letter from Bishop Fabbro can
be found on the table besides the elevator. This Pastoral letter is Bishop Fabbro
reflection on consecrated life. Please help yourself to a copy.
BLESSED PALMS (Blessed palms to Lenten ashes)
We inform all Parishioners that we are collecting all blessed palms from
previous years. So if any one has them at home please bring next weekend
with you to Church.

Message from Bishop Fabbro:
Pope Francis named Rev. Joseph Dąbrowski auxiliary bishop for the
Diocese of London, one of the largest English-speaking dioceses in
Canada. Fr. Joseph is currently pastor of St. Mary’s parish in London and Superior of
the Michaelite Fathers in North America. The naming of Father Dąbrowski as Auxiliary
Bishop is wonderful news for our diocese. This appointment is a great tribute to the
talent, the experience and the abilities of a faithful and gifted priest. Let us join
together in thanking God for this blessing. The Michaelite Fathers have served our
diocese for over 50 years. It is truly fitting that this announcement comes during the
Year of Consecrated Life. Over the past 12 years, I have had the privilege of knowing
and working with Bishop-Elect Dabrowski. He is a good friend and has made a
significant contribution to the pastoral life of the Diocese of London during his many
years of ministry. With his background as a religious order priest, his international
experience and his knowledge of languages, he brings unique gifts to our diocese. We
welcome him warmly as our new Auxiliary Bishop.

é presentemente o pastor da paróquia de Santa Maria e o Superior da ordem religiosa
dos Michaelites na América do Norte. A nomeação do Padre Dąbrowski como bispo
auxiliar é uma notícia importante para a Diocese de London. Esta nomeação é um
grande tributo ao talento, à experiência e às habilidades de um sacerdote fiel e
